Hello all,

I am looking for some help on the last step of getting my first CRT working. Whenever I press the volume up and down buttons on the television, it tries to change the channel rather than the volume, so the volume is stuck at zero. This happens with my remote and with physical buttons. The physical volume buttons work fine to adjust picture in that menu, nothing will allow me to adjust volume, though.

I have been playing games on my softmodded 360 just fine for around a week now, and today my usb stick with games on it just starts saying device removed after a few moments of displaying as connected, how screwed am i? Same thing on every port- aurora stick works on all ports, game stick disconnects after a few seconds on every port.

I have been looking for a CRT for a long time, and I recently had a coworker offer me theirs that was just sitting in their attic. This is an RCA XL-100, and I am super happy with the look. My only concern is that port wise, it is RF only. I have purchased an RCA brand compact RF modulator and would love to know what I should expect coming from those with experience. I have heard you should never pick up RF-only displays, but at the price of free, I couldn’t resist the urge to see what I can get out of it. My console collection includes

Nintendo GameCube

Microsoft XBOX
