The internet tells me my new table is a Danish draw-leaf made of teak. I’m wondering if someone could suggest the best method for treating the top. I have Danish oil and steel wool on hand but maybe there’s a better way?
Also, is it normal for the grain to not match across the three panels?

One of these was up against a huge cactus and sustained moisture damage. When I pointed out how bad it was, the lady running the sale said to just take them for free. Apparently these are early 7Bs because they have the Peerless tweeter with the hole in it. I popped in new fuses and they sound a little sharp but pretty good!
Found this old MA5100 at an estate sale and spent the last few weekends replacing bulbs, cleaning switches, and oiling the wood. I’m not a big earner so I never thought I’d own any McIntosh gear. Just bought it in from the garage and set it up today. Sounds great so far but seems a bit underpowered compared to the 38WPC Marantz it’s (maybe) replacing. Is low output a characteristic of these, or do I possibly have some caps or other components that have gone out of spec? (Everything seemed visually okay on the inside. Nothing bulging or leaking)
This is/was a non-functional power switch for an old Kenwood KT-7500 tuner and I have a two-part question.
can someone describe how to reassemble this thing? I took it apart because it wouldn’t stay engaged and power didn’t come on even when held in the “on” position. As I lifted the tabs holding the toggle part to the plastic housing, it all just fell apart in my hand before I could see how things should be oriented. I fumbled with it for quite a while and can’t seem to get it back together right.
if that doesn’t work, can I just bypass the switch entirely and plug the unit into a switched outlet on my amp? I don’t know the function of the orange goober soldered to the switch, so I’m concerned that leaving it out might cause a problem.

Probably used up all my luck for the year.
I haven’t used headphones in 15 years. I use a BT receiver plugged into the stereo at our factory. I am tired of these alerts and have been unable to get rid of them in settings.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
