I’ve never heard this call here before! I’ve heard the bugs and the owl but never that chitter

DFW Texas, found in a pile of horse poop (it was a different color and caught my eye) It is slightly wet from washing it off. It is very hard and does not break apart from gentle scrubbing. I didn’t try to break it. No clue what tests to run on it lol but this is what it looks like dry and damp (darker part still wet)

I was told to ask here to see what it could be. I thought it could be a kidney stone or something FROM the horse (I have two older geldings)

I have a little saltwater aquarium (about 1.5 gals) that currently has (dead) coral rock, asterina, and tiny pest snails I got from a lfs. Looking for things to make it pop and help it thrive!

YES I want the pest stuff! Maybe not ALL at once but I liked the look of these pests and algae! If you’ve got some let me know! I’ve never had salt before!

I can trade ramshorn snails, phytoplankton (small amounts), java moss, pothos cuttings, mini creeping fig cuttings, and art (I do digital and woodburning with a more realistic style. tho woodburning takes a LOT and is expensive)

Lost my boy a couple weeks ago. Colic. I made a plaque for him (did the same for my grandmothers horse when we lost him) and I have his tail to put on one of the hooks and his halter on the other.

How would I best protect it? I know it’ll probably be just fine on its own, but the sweet vet tech braided it nicely when I was struggling. I’d hate for any hairs to get pulled free. plus if anything were to happen to it. Hairspray maybe?

It’s rubber banded on both sides and I tightly tied ribbon around it. Same color as his halter. Also wondering if yall would keep as much as possible or cut off the fly aways to make it cleaner.

Looking for a red and white flecked fabric to make a custom plush of my horse. I lost him yesterday. I don’t really care of the type. Unsure how I can fix a single colored fabric to look similar.

Do I need to just give up and settle on a plain red? any way you would paint it or dye something to be similar? Thanks for suggestions.

I may have impulse bought this guy (He’s in a 100% set up tank that I told myself I wouldn’t put another betta so I could have snails. well guess what me you got another betta)

I fell in love with him at the store and then they told me he’d been there for a few weeks so I had to! (my lfs keeps their bettas in 5-10 gals, not cups!!)

I got this plant as a gift and it’s grown huge and put out babies as well! The kids are growing in the same pot and seem fine? I do think the soil is a bit too damp right now. Maybe repot with more sand/pearlite is needed. Not too sure on what this plant is though! mother of thousands maybe??

It sits in a windowsill in direct light but is more shaded (especially with the blinds) and could probably do with a new location but it’s all i’ve got.

I live with three other people who also water and it drives me nuts! No idea when it was last watered, I know that’s not helpful. my mother finds one plant that’s dry and drowns them all together. only plant no one touches is my orchid lol

I have this for my fish and isopods and I thought it was only spirulina but it is in fact not! I’m new to hermies, not sure what they can and can’t have. Wondering if I can add this to their diet!

This little moron keeps clinging to the top and dragging her fangs across the top mesh. I have added a fabric mesh to hang loosely from the top (attached by thread all the way around) and she has pulled it as far as she can and STILL gnaws at it!

Is there any way to get her to quit? Anything I can put there instead? I’ve only had this issue with this pest (love her but man she’s mean lol)
