The Helios program, like Apollo, uses the Saturn 1B and the Saturn V, though in the future, the C-8 is planned to be used for heavier surface colony missions. Currently, a manned lunar flight will likely happen no sooner then mid 1968.

Maria 1, First Lunar Rover (1965)

Rover survived for 105 days on the Lunar surface, collecting surface samples. Sadly, these surface samples will never be recovered, as the rover fell down a crater, being destroyed. Despite this, over 100 science was transmitted from the far side of the moon.

Can't for the life of me build a Venus probe for the life of me. How much more Delta V do I need?

Note: Using Atlas, delta V is off a little in the core stage. Using a Vega upper stage, all engines on 1962 configs. Probe is roughly .58 tons, cant seem to reduce mass without compromising the amount of onboard experiments and even that doesn't shave off much mass.

My Second Playthrough, weighing at 34.2 tons, the Unity 1 Satellite on top of the Trident launch vehicle.

This rocket uses a A-6H variant of the NAA-75 Engine as its first stage. Above this is the S3.42T variant of the S2.253 Engine. Lastly, the final upper stage uses a GCRC SRB.
