Another good season, kinda similar to last with a few things >!like one tribe getting decimated with a basketball player left as the last standing, ironic that it happened again!<, but this one had A LOT of idol/SITD action, with a total of >!5!<people being sent home due to negated votes. I also liked some of the dynamics between certain players, and there’s a few pre mergers and post mergers I’d like back.

HIGHLIGHTS:

>!The Gisovu tribe has the same fate as the Iberville tribe: decimated until a basketball player: Keegan- remains. Keegan also doesn’t make it much farther, ending the Gisovu tribe at 11. In the Gisovu tribe, we have Futakuri Barber rocked out, Chip medevacced, and Liam Idoled out by Keegan, leaving Keegan as the sole member of Gisovu. ”At least you made the jury!”- Abi-Maria Gomes!<

>!Speaking of that quote, Schwarzenegger goes out in a Savage-like idol out, but instead of Wentworth, it’s COLONEL SANDERS. I definitely think Schwarzenegger gives off a Savage vibe, so he could definitely come back!<

>!Jerome uses his Shot in the Dark and it is SAFE, sending home Warren Buffett, who was playing a top 3 strategic game despite going out 10th!<

>!Colonel Sanders tries the same thing and fails- being sent home after being a target for a while.!<

>!Three great duo dynamics: Jerome/Chris, Rory/Shrunk, and Chrissie/Megan.!<

>!Maria had a Knowledge is Power, but never got to use it because a very close tie vote and revote sent her home blindsided !<

>!Inde blindsided in a close vote, leaving the 3 duos as the final 6!<

>!Jerome winning multiple immunities!<

>!Megan plays her idol on Chrissie despite Chrissie having one herself, sending Chris, who likely had one of the best games socially, packing.!<

Again, a very fun season. This time, there is LITERALLY an entire tribe I could bring back. Very fun moments and characters, and possibly one of my favorite winners.

HIGHLIGHTS:

>!Two idols are played at a premerge tribal council, which leads to a revote that eliminates Strix, who had strategic potential.!<

>!The green tribe, Iberville, is nearly pagonged, but Huey and Zafina make it out alive and make it somewhat far.!<

>!The ENTIRE Coupee tribe was great. Devens, Dara, Erik, Odie, and Randall were all great for the season.!<

For Season 42, we’re heading back to the United States, where a completely new location will be welcoming a group of 18 new players: Louisiana. Known for its unique Cajun culture and French influence, this is a land of a unique blend of European colonialism and its own unique identity. Honestly, a pretty good opener to the New Era. It’s got a lot of what you’d expect from a New Era season, tied in with some pretty good moments and fun characters. A pretty good season in my eyes that definitely has some potential returnees.

HIGHLIGHTS:

>!With a New Era season comes a disaster tribe- this one being the Tinian tribe. Joe, Neek, Aubry, Amando, and Airazor are all taken out back to back from 17th to 13th, leaving Xavier as the last one standing- ala Stephenie.!<

>!However… this doesn’t last long. He goes out at 12th. This is very likely the EARLIEST an entire tribe has been DECIMATED. None of them made the merge… that’s really sad!<

>!With the ENTIRE Tinian tribe gone, it becomes a war between the Saipan and Chulu tribes… with one making up the entire final 3.!<

>!From the Merge, we see some characters emerge: Hwang, Yzma, Gallade, Jake, Scarlet, Khloe, and Eliza. Each of these had either entertainment or gameplay value in the game in my opinion.!<

>!Rattlesnake Jake is eliminated by Default after a revote couldn’t settle the debate.!<

>!Then, we have yet ANOTHER fun tribal where Eliza is idoled out by Yzma, saving her for another day, and probably giving us great reactions from Eliza!!<

>!Yzma’s safety didn’t last long… as she’s voted out promptly at the next tribal. !<

>!A lot of different people won immunity, which isn’t very normal!<

>!Going into the deep part of the game, Hwang had 2 strong duos, proving to be playing a great strategic and social game. !<

>!Khloe playing the best strategic game, calling a lot of shots!<

>!Gallade playing a good game, but not too strategic!<

>!Scarlet also playing a good game but not getting the jury’s respect, becoming the first New Era 0 vote finalist- since those are almost inevitable !<

>!Hwang battles against Khloe in fire, in which Hwang wins against his closest ally, creating for a heroic sendoff!<

>!The final vote ends in a 4-4 tie between Hwang and Gallade, where Scarlet has to choose… she chooses Hwang, making him the WINNER of Survivor 41: Mariana Islands - Dawn of a New Era!!<

Man, man, man, let me tell you this was a GREAT SEASON. This has brought out so many great storylines, moments, and caps off so many legacies. The winner of this season, our first two time winner, is in my opinion now one of if not THE best to play the game, dominating strategically and socially alongside those they worked with. I hope y’all enjoy this season as much as I did.

HIGHLIGHTS:

>!Ice Cube being voted out first, but then she comes back through EoE and finishes in 11th despite being a target for many votes- receiving an astounding 26 votes.!<

>!Dustin being idoled out by Gary, who plays an idol on Belle, in which Gary, Belle, and Life all eliminate Dustin in a 4*-3-2 vote. This is the first of the Belle/Gary/Life trio, which will get even better from here.!<

>!Alexandra being unanimously voted off in a 6 vote Revote after a close 3-3-2 vote.!<

>!Coraline gets voted off soon after, but then returns at the Final 6… only to get eliminated that tribal.!<

>!Then, Miss Piggy gets idoled out, this time by Iroh.!<

>!The Belle/Gary/Life trio has to turn on Kevin, in which they were allied with, creating a sad elimination.!<

>!Ice Cube returns and Belle is eliminated after a very complex vote ending in a 6-4 revote. This leaves Life and Gary vulnerable, but they quickly create a new trio involving Nick Wilde.!<

>!Jayden is taken out in a 4-3-3 vote, which was one of the closest votes seen.!<

>!Then, Nick W is taken out at the final 9, leaving Gary and Life vulnerable yet AGAIN, but they are now Ride or Dies, willing to do whatever it takes to get to the end. !<

>!In opposition to Gary and Life, Carmen and Facilier team up in another duo.!<

>!Then, Iroh is blindsided, then Amelia, meaning that the two biggest heroes left in the game were both taken out. !<

>!Towards the end, it was a battle between two duos- Facilier and Carmen, both from the same original season, and Gary and Life - allies who never got to finish what they started in All Stars.!<

>!The Final 4 is Gary/Life vs Facilier/Carmen, in which Carmen takes Gary and puts Facilier against Life in fire, where Life’s journey comes just short, making for an emotional exit on the levels of Sarah’s in WaW.!<

>!Luckily, it all pays off, because Gary wins the season in an 8-5-4 vote, as he had clawed from the bottom and controlled the game without anyone noticing- besides his closest allies. Now, he is our FIRST two time winner, having an 1/8/1 boot record, with his 8th finish being an idol out, becoming in my eyes the best to play the game thus far.!<

Now with that out of the way, now begins the 40s, and we are shortly on our way to IN THE HANDS OF THE FANS- but more than the ACTUAL 50. Shortly, 41 will be cast!
