What should I upgrade for now?

Normally I buy a new computer every four or five years but with the cost of ram prices and gpu prices I'm going to wait a couple more years and hope they come down.... yeah...

My question is pretty simple; given how absurdly high prices given my specs what would you suggest to upgrade it in the meantime that is budget friendly... Meaning don't suggest buying a 5090. I don't play gpu intensive games; I mainly play vrchat and subnautica 2.

My specs:
Dell Optiplex 9020
Dual booting linux mint 22.3 xfce and windows 10 (I AM NOT INSTALLING WINDOWS !!)
intel core i7-4790
Nvidia rtx 3060
32.8 gb ram

I might go towards trying to install my operating systems on nvme but the computer keeps giving a error saying that it doesn't allow it.

Went a lot better than I thought it was going to be!

The short version is while they disagree and are disappointed my family is still friends. I had to have a quick cry afterwards because I was terrified. Beforehand my skin was going pale from terror and my head was getting light

My personal advice: make a script to follow and think of questions they probably will ask. Also don't come out when yall are arguing or pissed off at each other. I rewrote my script dozens of times and no lie me and my family don't have the best of relationships, but stand your ground.

My biggest piece of advice though is if they start getting combative a phrase that will help you a lot to defuse the situation is, "but still I'm a lot happier as a person"
