Good video on how to get the ryhawk! Haircuts always look a tiny bit rough on mannequins but I like it overall. Lots of texture and free handing

Hear me out. The album a fever you can’t sweat out by panic at the disco when Ryan Ross was influencing the band is giving me so much inspiration for my own thing. I love the performance aspect and transitions and just the entire concept of the band. I have an entire notebook full of ideas for a band with my own twist to it. I’m a vocalist and can sing all kinds of rock from Led Zeppelin to ram jam to panic! to Green Day to rage against the machine. I’ve also been heavily inspired to create something with aspects of green day and rage against the machine. I just have so many ideas but don’t know anyone in the music scene. The yearning and passion in Ryan and Brendon’s voice in the album along with the absolute rage and passion in rage against the machines vocals. The goofy nature of Green Day while also sending a deep message. I love the story telling aspect of these bands and the way they do it. I’m going to start writing more. I also love the experimental instrumentals in each band I listed especially panic! L. Anyone who would be interested in doing something along these lines whichever. Anyone who would be open to a jam session and possibly exploring the ideas I have, even adding ideas of their own I would absolutely love the opportunity to do something like that even if we never make it out of the garage. I’ve really just become truly confident in myself in a way I’ve never been this past year and have always been extremely moved by music and realized recently there’s nothing stopping me from creating music of my own. Looking for other people with that deep yearning passion for music. Or someone whos just chillin and willing to help me build my vision I have. I’m also willing to alter my vision to blend it into someone else’s ideas. I just want to create tbh. I haven’t done anything professional yet but I can send whatever audio of my voice singing for an idea. I’d love to start by making a panic at the disco tribute band (like I said though only their older stuff) but that’s a long shot I feel like especially with just how unique their stuff is. It’s not for everyone so I assume it’ll take a bit to find someone willing for this but if anyone is interested I wanted to put that out there.
I just love the kinds of bands that have that slightly corny aesthetic but they make it work while acknowledging the cheesiness. Does that make sense? I’m a VERY goofy person but also have VERY deep thoughts and ideas about life in general that I want to make songs about.
All this aside, I’m still exploring my vocals so if anyone would be willing to let me come jam with them one day with whatever kind of rock/punk/pop they play I’d LOVE that.
Hello you guys,
I’ve been waiting SO long to have a girl dinner worthy of this subreddit. Tonight, I think I have created a masterpiece.
•Popeyes chicken and biscuit
•chunk of fresh Parmesan cheese
•bit of honey (fresh honey not from Popeyes)
•glass of milk
•can of dr. Pepper
•tall glass of Merlot
•small german chocolate cake
Please share your thoughts below.
Update: this girl dinner predicted my period.
Looking for music with a similar moving/yearning/passion sound like this song does. I think I chose the correct genre. Love their sound along with the band the script. Early 2000’s esque
So my parents got this rum from the old forge distillery in Tennessee I think it was? It was the smoothest rum I’ve had. It was a smooth buzz, was smooth going down, and a smooth next day (no hangover whatsoever) I’ve had trouble finding a comparable rum though. I like the higher alcohol content as I can be good after only a drink or two. The second picture is some coconut rum I tried today (dw it stayed unopened until I got home, just took a pic in the car) the taste is amazing, it’s like sweet coconut shavings, the buzz is just meh though, the alcohol content. I’m new to rum though so just looking for recommendations for a budget friendly $20-50 max dupe for the old forge one though.
Hey! I live in the metro Atlanta area in a middle of nowhere neighborhood surrounded by a heavily wooded area. and was on my back porch talking to my mom tonight and spotted this balled up weird looking thing on the corner of the ceiling on a small ledge. The train of thought for me to reach this conclusion was
is that a wasp nest?? - no because it looks fuzzy - maybe it’s a birds nest - oh those look like possible feathers - I don’t think it’s a birds nest because the ledge is too small - it’s not moving - I wonder if it’s an injured bird balled up in a corner because it’s hurting or scared - IT JUST MOVED ITS DEFINITELY A BIRD - WAS THAT A FUCKING SMOOTH ELBOW I JUST SAW - BIRDS DONT HAVE SMOOTH AREAS OF THEIR BODIES LIKE THAT DO THEY???? - I THINK THATS A F**KING BAT - *I bolted inside*
Went back out to take a picture but now I feel bad because I don’t think I’ve ever heard of a single hat balling up in a random corner like that? Trying to figure out what to do and or if I should call someone in case it is a bat and needs rehabilitation. I know the picture is vague so that’s why I added so many small weird details that led me to the conclusion of possible bat. Do I just let little homie chill?
Edit: It’s been solved! It’s a Carolina Wren and I was absolutely rudely disturbing his peaceful sleep.
Hey! I’ve always known Joe to write in cursive, but I know there are probably a few things off as it has been years since I actually learned it 😂 I’m not sure exactly what I need to work on to fix/better it but I’m interested in making it look neater/more proper to actual cursive writing. Any advice on any letters I’m doing incorrectly altogether or even things like if there’s something I can improve about the way I’m writing aside from incorrectly worrying the letters. I’ve downloaded some cursive practice sheets so I’ll be getting practice in. I’ve just always wanted to get into lettering/calligraphy and feel like improving my cursive first is a good way to work my way into it! Be as nitpicky about it as you can! I’m definitely open to taking constructive criticism :-) (didn’t know what to write so I went with some Green Day lyrics lol) (also I wasn’t worried about grammar here so disregard the complete lack of proper punctuation 😂)
for reference: I’m using my iPad and Apple Pencil in free form with the fountain pen!
