What would the strongest kuriboh deck look like?

I've recently decided to get into the game with a 4 year old sunavalon deck for myself and a kuriboh deck for the person I'm playing with. But there's a problem, I've been informed that the sunavalon deck is likely much stronger. How would one go about making kuriboh stronger?

Recently I've decided to start playing this game, I've looked over the manual a few times and think I have a decent understanding of the different summoning mechanics and overall rules.

I've stumbled upon this channel that appears to be an excellent entry point for anyone who wants to build a particular archetype but isn't familiar with the overall card pool. I've decided to build his sunavalon deck for myself and his kuriboh deck for my partner (the most we've played thus far is structure decks).

I suppose main questions would be

  1. Sunavalon in particular has a reputation for not exactly being beginner friendly, would I eventually learn how to play it well through trial and error?

  2. Assuming we learn the decks well enough, how playable would they be with other players? Not expecting to win high level tournaments or anything, but what settings would be best for them?

I am aware that the sunavalon deck is likely quite outdated and doesn't include the rikka support to make it stronger. These decks appear to be more casual in the first place and I would prefer to keep the build as pure as I can so I don't mind.
