My (15M) first 8-track player, a Pioneer RH-60!

I bought the deck off eBay for about $65, and it needed a new belt, so I got one for $20. And it literally has a hatch on the bottom for replacing the belt! It was so easy! It also had this thing where it’d make like a helicopter noise out of nowhere, but I just stuck my finger in the deck and pressed all the buttons, and it went away. Now that it works, I am in love with this thing! So far I have Master Of Reality, Electric Warrior, Ram Jam, Rumours, and Double Gold! I love watching the VU meters light up and bounce, and some of these tapes have some serious punch to them! I also have Best Of The Doobies, but its foil is messed up, and I have Breakfast In America, but when I was trying to fix the deck with a rubber band it ate the tape, and I snapped the case trying to fix it, so for now I donated its foam to Ram Jam bc it was rotted. I am totally gonna look for more tapes next time I’m at the flea market!

A compilation of random jams and stuff I made with GarageBand that were recorded to cassette (if you’re expecting covers or good stuff this is not for you)

Basically what the title said. Some of it is really weird, but I felt like sharing it anyways. It’s mostly just synth jams where I’m noodling around.

Got A CRT + Burned A Jeff Buckley DVD

My first CRT since I was like 9 or something. My parents threw out my old one because they thought it was big and ugly lol. Anyways, my friend is redoing her room, and she has a small room + the TV is broken (the tape player either won't accept tapes or eats them), so she asked me if I wanted it, and being the pack rat that I am, I took it. I put it on top of my mini fridge, and made it my desk TV, and because idk how to fix VCRs and I don't wanna open a CRT yet, I ran this long ass coaxial cable my PaPa gave me from the TV, around my desk and shelves, to my VCR. I also burned this neat Jeff Buckley DVD using DVDFlick with 3 concerts on it to play in my VCR. Anyways, since I hooked it up this way, now both of my TVs can play tapes, DVDs, audio cassettes (my deck runs through the VCR), my PS1, my PS2, my NES, my Wii, satellite TV, my Atari 2600, and my N64.

TL;DR: Friend gave me a broken CRT TV, I ran a long ass coaxial cable across my room to make it work, made it into a desk TV, it can play 10 different things, and I burned a Jeff Buckley DVD with DVDFlick to play on it.
