Hello beautiful people. Today, I'd like to humbly request SpaceEngine on steam. I'm currently a rising sophomore studying astrophysics in college and I've been fascinated with space for as long as I can remember. Most children change what they want to be as they grow older, but I always wanted to pursue a career in the space field researching. That passion has just grown even more over the years, and it's harder to find ways to explore that passion. I'm extremely introverted and have an abhorrent social life so I really can't do anything in person, like joining clubs or outside astronomy organizations. This is also the reason why I'm a really big gamer (my steam username combines part of my name and astronomy which I personally think is cool lol) As I continue schooling, I want to explore astronomy/astrophysics outside of just in school.

I got introduced to SpaceEngine through the youtuber Space Chip (goated space vids btw). From what I've seen, it's everything I would have ever wanted within a space sim game. It has very realistic physics and billions of astronomical objects to explore. The planets also have built terrains and also support mods to make custom planets and other celestial bodies. Using SpaceEngine would be such a fun way to experience the sheer scale of the universe.

Being a college student who receives no financial aid makes it hard to justify spending money on games even if it's connected to something I'm passionate about.
