I have been saying this for years, but I never felt justified enough to be this direct. Now that the series has finally pointed it out, DRESDEN LIKELY SAVED MORE LIVES IN THE LONG RUN.
I’ve always doubted that the majority of the Overseers were actually good, simply because of “the passage of time” BUT MY BOY IS A HERO THROUGH AND THROUGH.
Whether driven by vengeance or benevolence, HE WAS ALWAYS TRYING TO HELP PEOPLE, EVEN IF HIS METHODS WERE WRONG.
