Thoughts on Nivea cream?
Helloww, I have severe type 1 rosacea and I recently started to use Nivea cream about two weeks ago. I know it is incredibly advised to stay away from this cream for people with rosacea but for some reason it’s the only cream that actually works for me? My mother is 52 and her skin looks amazing so i basically stole some of her nivea cream two weeks ago because I was fed up with all my stupid expensive moisturizers and OTC topicals I have. My skin isn’t that red anymore and my skin is no longer dehydrated after about 2 months of fighting and trying to get rid of my dehydrated skin without triggering terrible flare ups and breakouts. I stopped literally everything and so far I’ve been using a cheap vitamin c serum then a thin layer of nivea cream and then a thin layer of vaseline at night. This has dramatically improved my skin and yet I have found no positive results in people with rosacea who have used this moisturizer ? at this point am I the only one who’s had success with this cream with this condition? I know it contains perfume and mineral oil with is very bad for rosacea yet I can’t help but put it on my face. It brings so much relief for me as my rosacea (as many of you unfortunately can understand) burns/is hot and sometimes makes my face swell. So please tell me your stories about this cream!!!
