Business Development career advice

I’m looking to pivot from tech sales to business development in the construction and real estate space (28M)

Typically how much should I shoot to make in year 1 (location - Scottsdale, AZ)

More importantly long term, what do earnings in this field look like?

And do I stay BD forever, or what does career progression look like for roles to move into after?

Thanks for any advice!

Middleman for construction

Has anyone used suppliers overseas at a discount, and flipped it to construction companies?

Had a business idea to be the middle man here.

Example: buying a material for $1, selling for $3.

But the construction company is currently paying $5 for their product so now they save thousands.

So it’s a win, win, win situation.

Was looking into getting started with something like this. Anyone else doing this at the moment, and what are your thoughts?

Walked into therapy for the first time today, and my new therapist had a “Grateful” poster with the Dead logo on it.

Life has been SO hard for me recently…

But today, felt like we had an amazing connection, and this was a strange sign to me that things will all work out in the end. Time to take it day by day.

For all of those going through a tough time, wishing you all positive energy and to stay strong.

Not sure who needs to hear this, but keep your head high ❤️

Going to the Gilbert farmers market for the first time this Saturday with my girlfriend.

What are some fun things to do around Gilbert to check out afterwards?

We’re both 28, enjoy being outside, and finding cool spots.

I live in Scottsdale and haven’t spent a lot of time out in Gilbert, so any recommendations of spots to go and check out around Gilbert for a fun time are appreciated!

Thanks.
