I put the crew outside for some sun

Its a beautiful summer day here in the Midwest and I thought the turtles might enjoy some sun. All yearling RES, an albino, melanistic, lime (hypomelanistic) and a paradox leucistic. After I snapped these pics, I put a cover over half the tub so they could get some shade if needed. I'm also monitoring the water temp and adjusting it with cool water as needed.

Up is down, down is up

Check out this wild, two bodied guy who popped up in a recent grow. It had gills on both sided of the cap.

Loop

Just over a year ago I sprouted a massive seed. It grew rapidly and while it was still very green and plyable, I made a loop, shaved some of the bark where it touched, and wrapped it in grafting tape. Here are the results.
