I'm assuming sourcing is not allowed here. But is there somewhere to get the basic info regarding MAOI use. Which type? How much? Extract? What medicines and food to avoid etc?

Can never decide on best pressure. Obviously, the door-jamb sticker will be completely different and for the wheels it came on.

I'm sure it's just 'artistic license' but when I watch a US sitcom or film. 'Friends' springs to mind here for some reason even though I've not seen it in decades...

Anyway. Everyone always has their shoes on indoors. Like, even lying feet up on the couch. In bed etc. Here in the UK it's mostly the opposite. Though I do wear shoes in my own place a lot, but I really shouldn't. When you think about all the dog shit outside and people spitting on the floor etc. It makes total sense to remove your shoes and also request that your guests do so too.

Maybe it's our rainy weather. Suppose in sunny California a bit of dry dust isn't hurting anybody. Or maybe you guys don't even step foot outside? - House down to garaaaarrrge, into your 'auto' and then into the underground lot at the mall/office etc.

So what gives? Is taking your shoes off indoors a thing in USandA?

Hey guys.

My central locking keyfob won't open the boot/tailgate hatch. This started happening after I replaced the handle which had corroded badly.

Previous to replacing the handle I could lock it and unlock it using the central locking fob, but the actual keyhole was seized solid and wouldn't turn. Whilst replacing the handle I managed to free up the key mechanism using PlusGas. So now I have the opposite problem - I can open it with the key alone. The central locking fob does nothing. Though I can hear something clicking in there when I press the button.

So I'm out of ideas and wondering whether it might be worth replacing this switch? Though I can see it moving so it does have power, just thinking maybe it's gone bad in some way. Also, the boot light has never worked despite changing the bulb and if I leave the tailgate open for too long the alarm will go until I hit the unlock button again.

Anyone else had similar issues?

I've been experimenting with a Geek Vape Zeuss tank recently. Just wondered how often I should replace the coil? I've noticed that when the tank starts to get low, but still above the holes. the vapour will start to get really harsh and acrid. Which also affects the vibe of the trip.

Is it the coil getting burnt or scorched? (0.2 ohm at 27w)

Or is it contaminants clogging it up? I'll try filtering my liquid next time.

When I last looked into trying e-mesh a few years back there was a shortage of the RDA's and the metal mesh etc.

Has anything changed? Are the parts more easily available now? I already have a mod box for sub-ohm but would like to try e=mesh for one-shot breakthroughs.

I had a session on the Sub Ohm last night. First time with that ROA.

I was probably hitting it for about 3 or 4 hours and did about 3/4 tank.

Felt fantastic at the time. Inspired and energised. But today, completely wiped out. Entire day spent horizontal. Feel okay now so not a virus. And I also walked ten miles yesterday and cycled another twelve so entirely possible that I was just exhausted.

So is a DMT comedown a thing? Or am I jumping to the wrong conclusion? Just so I know for next time really.

Last night I tried a new Sub Ohm kit for the first time after using carts for ages. Geek Vape Aegis Solo/Z tank.

Very impressed! I mixed at a ratio of 1:3 in 70:30 PG/VG.

I basically just chilled with some music and hit it all night. Saw some crazy stuff and had some emotional revelations/releases. But still not sure I broke through. I'm not sure if I'm just under-shooting, or maybe not remembering stuff after a certain intensity. How many hits/how long a pull would you expect it to take to break through on a 3:1 ratio at about 30w?

I'm not chasing that aspect of the DMT experience. It's already given me some amazing experiences, but I don't think I've ever broken through from memory, and I feel that I'm ready now. The closest I ever got was with an oil-burner when I first started. It felt like I was flying through a tunnel in space. But then I couldn't remember anything when I came back to my room.

Is a Sub Ohm rig even the right tool for breakthrough doses or should I be getting a separate device like a E-Mesh etc. I used an entire tank last night (1g) so it's not very efficient. Maybe it would be good with an MOAI is my thinking.

Also, I noticed that towards the end, the experiences got darker. Not really fear-inducing, more just, well, dark. Like I'd close my eyes and seen black worms writhing. I took this as a sign that the night was over. I was tired and dehydrated anyway. But I'd read that a burnt/scorched coil can cause this. My tank was just below the 'holes'. New coil next time?

I'm still learning. When I started I had one glass freezer tray. I've since bought a couple of new ones in order to stagger precipitation times of various pulls.

What I've noticed is that the OG consistently provides a better yield. I don't wash them so could there be something in the assumption that perhaps crystals, like barnacles on a ship need something to grow on?

Anyone else noticed this? Should I be cleaning between freezes?

In the interest of learning and attempting to clean up my stash, I dissolved .6g of DMT crystals I extracted some time ago into about 40ml of warm/hot Heptane. I then performed a water wash on this by blasting it into warm water with a pipette. Once settled I pipetted into a glass tray and put in my very cold freezer for exactly 24h.

So I've just removed the tray and nothing! Looks the same as it went in.

So is my DMT trapped in the water vessel? Or still in the heptane? Why hasn't it crashed out?

I've read teks that say to leave 24h, others that say an hour, and others just go straight in with the NPS.

Does it make a difference in your opinion? It makes sense that the lye gets to chooch and work on the bark I suppose, but what governs how long? I suppose it's still working when the NPS is added so I guess a better way to word the question is how long from mixing everything before you start pulling?

During my recent extraction I was experimenting with NPS by using Heptane for one pull then Naptha for the next etc. Unfortunately, I'd make a terrible lab-assistant as I then forgot which was which anyway and then decanted from the freeze trays into a single container.

So now I have a jar of mixed Heptane/Naptha. Any reason to think this shouldn't be used going forward?

I can't remember where I read this but somebody advised adding citric acid to your vape juice/deems. A search here hasn't turned up anything.

Anyone know more about this and can advise? It's to make the vapour smoother from memory. It may be outdated info. I'm just in the process of making some juice and I have Citric Acid and just remembered about it.

Just wanna check the community. Do I just fill her up and fire away? Any soak time or anything?

I can only get distilled water online. I'd like to do an extraction tomorrow. So I was wondering what the next best thing is? Deionised water available in most supermarkets. Or bottled mineral/spring water? What about simply boiled and cooled tap water?

As a result of ignorance during my early attempts at extractions I have a stash of about half a gram that I pulled straight from the main flask into the freezer dish. My tek at that time had no mention of water-washing and I can't remember ever reading about it at that time.

Anyway, we live and learn. But although this stash looks fine, (nice yellow crystals) and I would have been very careful not to get any soup in the final product, I'd still feel better giving it a water-wash knowing what I know now.

So I understand that a re-x with heptane is old advice and inferior to a water-wash anyway? I was thinking of dissolving this stash in naptha or heptane in order to perform a water-wash or two on it. I suppose the two things are pretty much the same anyway for this purpose?

So my questions are: how much naptha/heptane would be best to use for this? Will it dissolve naturally or do I use heat? And will I lose any of the product doing this, how much?

On my current STB extraction using 100g MHRB I'm pulling about 100mg per pull. Is that normal? How are people getting 1-1.5% over three pulls?

I'm still pulling and have harvested about 0.5g so far so I'm not complaining too much, but it's labor-intensive! 😅
