I plan to be in PTown week of 5th July for a solo trip. For context I am straight female woman of color in my 40s.
I want to meet people from different walks of life . I do this solo trip every year to a different place. Would Ptown be welcoming ? For conversations and new friendships. I am seeing posts that Ptown has become cliquey and this worries me.

Looking for some Calathea advice.
I have a fairly mature Calathea that I rescued from a plant store about a year ago. It was already pretty stressed when I got it, and the holes, tears, and scratches on the leaves were all present before it came home with me.
Once home,i had repotted it .
Since then, the plant seems stable. I haven’t had any new browning or crispy edges, and overall it looks healthy. It has its own humidifier, I use filtered water and rainwater when possible, and I’m located in the Northeast U.S. where our town water is generally considered good quality.
The plant sits in a fairly sunny room and receives plenty of bright indirect light throughout the day. Temperatures are generally between 68–75°F.
What puzzles me is that I haven’t seen any new growth in the entire year I’ve had it. No new leaves, no new shoots—just the same foliage maintaining itself.
Has anyone had a Calathea that took this long to recover from previous stress? Could it be putting all its energy into rebuilding roots, or is there something obvious I might be missing?
I am curious why Binda feels like Satish’s sons should not be allowed to enjoy the luxuries that she is entitled to. Is it because Satish became rich after his marriage to Binda ?
My theory is that Marriage to Binda gave Satish the much coveted British citizenship allowing him more freedom to do shady business and escape India forever.But not sure how much wealth he had before Binda
