Removing HA for winter

Winter is coming!!

I’m a dry skin girly using tretinoin living in a dry climate in Canada. Right now things are relatively humid but I’m anticipating the cold, dry, sunny days ahead. Fun fact we have some of the most sun days in the world!

So I’m thinking about only replenishing with products that do not have hyaluronic acid. Should I include sodium hylunerate (SH) in that? I know not all HA is created equal!

Current products with HA:

Cosrx 6 peptide serum
Saturday Skin Yuzu vitamin c serum - impulse buy and wasn’t going to replace it anyway
Dieux Air Angel sample - so lovely under cicaplast! It has the SH
Dieux Instant Angel - SH

So not a ton of products to replace but I’m still curious if you think this is a reasonable idea? And the Sodium hylunerate question.

I (F34) didn’t respond correctly to his (M31) crisis

Are his expectations too much and is he just looking to place his anger somewhere?

He was working on our kitchen renovation while I worked in another room with earplugs in. He yelled for help and I came running. I come into the kitchen and he’s struggling with some component of the upper component of the cabinets while kneeling on the installed lower cabinets. I immediately ask what’s wrong, what’s going on? He responds that he needs a clamp from a surface across the room. I grab that and then he puts it on. Yes free from the struggle but has hurt his thumb. Starts yelling at me for asking questions when I came into the situation. I ask if he’s hurt and he says he crushed his thumb. It may be broken. I leave to avoid this conflict and let him cool down. A thumb is far from his heart so he can wait 10 minutes.

We communicate about his thumb in between neutrally. It’s fine, just bruised and hurts. I empathize with his pain and offer pain relieving solutions I can help with. We separate.

He calls me into approve what he was working on. Looks great. He apologizes for yelling at me. Thanks. But then he proceeds to berate and lecture me about asking questions. I say I would love to say that I promise that I’ll enter a crisis situation ready for instruction but I can’t. I’ll probably be asking “what’s wrong” before I enter the room. I told him expecting me to say this and do this is ridiculous. I accept that he will yell when he’s been hurt so why can’t he accept that I won’t respond to an emergency in the perfect way?

He says “fine I won’t count on you in emergency situations going forward”. I’m pissed at this. I say “f you, that’s messed up”, leave the room and here I am.

Doctors letter for HR

I’ve been back at work for 2.5 months. It’s been a struggle as I have trouble getting there on time and I leave early often. I work from home more than our company policy officially allows.

My boss is aware that I’m suffering and I spoke to HR about it. I’m not sure what’s going on but other staff or just HR have noticed continued inconsistent attendance and have requested a doctors note for accommodations be submitted.

What do I ask my doctor to put on this letter? I had depression diagnosed before I was pregnant where I did take a stress leave for a month while I moved and broke up with my ex husband. My psychologist had diagnosed me with ppd, ppa and pp ocd. I sent my doctor a message asking for this letter abd he said he wants me to come in to discuss.

I feel like such a lazy failed loser. My baby is 13 months old and doing great. My relationship is rocky and where the majority of my stress comes from. We split care evenly as much as possible. He’s in between jobs right now so that’s stressful too.

My boss is lovely. He’s told me to work from home if I need to and to do what I need go get better. He’s annoyed with HR it seems. I take responsibility for dropping the ball of course. I’m trying my best to not need any accommodations but I feel like I’m in crisis overwhelm, dread and despair 5/7 days a week I’d say.

I need help with what to put in this letter so my boss can give it to HR and they can have something to back up telling others that I am working under accommodations. I’m afraid my doctor won’t know what to write?
