wanted to get into this universe for a while and then I saw all of the massive verse on sale for 25 dollars (NZD) and DRM free too!! This isn’t a sponsored things, just telling everyone I can because it’s like the easiest way to get into the universe.
I started a comic book club, and I wasnt going to post this until october. But the libarys have already began putting up flyers so here we go.
Note: The 29th of October will be the first time this club is meeting up. There is no meeting on the 24th of September
To explain why I am using DC compacts as an example, despite it being really successful, is that every once in a while you see someone older saying they dislike the format.
There are legitimate reasons for some to dislike, a common complaint is the squashed artwork, and most of the time they admit it's a net positive for the industry as a whole despite their displeasure.
But sometimes their complaints seem really weird and gatekeepy, especially when it was announced and some called it a bad idea.
Recently went to a few different public Libarys in my town. What struck me was how nice selction and vareity was. I'm in New Zealand too just fyi.
What was also interesting was how they organised it. Kids, young adult and adult graphic novels all had there own section.
Kids was mostly western, Young adult was mostly manga (though olny a few series, like the had alot of one peice that it took up a few shelves) then adult was back to being mostly western again.

Me I like them. Mostly because I really love how whenever Hal flys he builds up alot of air resistance air resistance and always seems to like a slight sonic boom (Hard to find a pic of it)
Hope we see a green aura in space though.
Mind would be the return of Barry Allen. I just think it would be cool. You'd have to change a few things of course.

They seem to focus solely on superheroes, their hatred and/or love of one of two companies and comparing it to manga?
I took a ride near some newer housing developments near Rotokauri and it kind of struck me how much I dislike it. One of the reasons I disliked it is I kinda thought it was a bad use of space. I dunno, as someone who’s grown up in suburbs I’ve grown to hate them somewhat, though that is probably 100% my personal biases.
I thought I’d ask you lot the question and see what the general opinion is? My thought is if Hamilton has to grow it should be up not out, but again I might be alone on that.

I think NZ would differently send a Haka and a lot of cultural dancers to said hypothetical event. Also something that would be cool is if we put on a small Rugby tournament. Other countries could get in on that too.
So I'm austitic. I'm saying that upfront as it might explain a few things. I've never had a girlfriend before and at time it feels like I'll always be alone. I've been trying to improve myself. Tried to make friends and such. And now I want to try dating because I have to stop crushing on my female friends. Because thats unfair.
Totally clueless when it comes to this stuff. Hoping for some advice.
For instance in the UK it's common to use the word "Fag" to refer to a cigarette, but in the US it's olny a slur.
Bonus question to those from the commonwealth: Do you also use this term for cigarettes? I'm not sure I know the general opinion for NZ myself. I know alot of LGBTQ+ folks and not alot of smokers, so I think any perspective I give is skewed somewhat.
Whittakers is the best chocolate ever!!! Cadbury kinda sucks in comparison (at least here).
