Has anyone regained monetization after an "inauthentic engagement" violation?

Did you keep posting on your page while waiting for monetization to be restored? I'm trying to figure out whether it's worth continuing to publish content or if it doesn't make any difference. I'd love to hear from anyone who has actually gone through this.
