First AR. Opinions?

Ok, I’m trolling a bit.. This started off as a joke. I had a bunch of spare stuff laying around and I thought to myself; what if I put a shitty sport 2 upper with no muzzle device on a LWRC lower? I’ve dubbed it the W.H.A.M.A.H. (We have an M4 at home). It’s got the shitty carbine buffer and spring from the sport 2, and a shitty carbine length gas tube. But the BCG is LWRC. Wonder how this thing will run when I take it to the range? 🤔

I’ve had the Rival for about 2 years now. Approaching 1.5k rounds.

I know some of you don’t like Canik. Mainly because the base model mete series sucks. I love this pistol, it’s been nothing short of reliable. Internal parts are still looking good. Trigger is better than any stock striker fired trigger on the market right now. Disgustingly accurate with the RMR. My top striker fired pistols as of July 2026. The PDP, VP9A1-F, SFX-Rival, XMacro (for carry). I wouldn’t bother with anything else. In terms of pistols you could just take out the box and run no modifications needed.

I like shooting my SKS more than my AK with a fin.

In terms of California, the SKS is still pretty cool to shoot. Is it the best option? absolutely not. But I love it.

Norinco or Yugo SKS?

Don’t know which to invest in. The Yugo I’m looking at looks unused, but I know they don’t have the chromed lined barrel and are heavier than the Norinco. The Norinco looks used missing the bayonet (not a big deal) but does have a chrome lined barrel. The bolt and bolt carrier look clean. I’m just not sure which to go with. I like the look of the Yugo more. But I feel like the Norinco will serve me better in terms of long term use. Opinions?

Picking up a 585 series Mini 30 in a couple days

Praying mines doesn’t have any quality control issues with the bolt. Looked up my serial number, it was manufactured in 2026. Looking through this thread has almost made me consider canceling and getting something else for the money. I’m curious how many people haven’t run into any issues with their 585 series?

If you lived in Alexandria before Rick and Crew showed up. You’d definitely feel like they ruined your life.

I’m just saying the group was a net negative to the entire community. They had a system that kept them alive and sustained from the start of the outbreak to the point the group shows up. They brought nothing but issues, negative vibes, death and despair to the community. Got a bunch of people from the community killed in a variety of ways. 🤣 like if the show wasn’t about Rick and his group and we hadn’t been following their lives for the past 4 seasons. You’d be like fuck these people. THEY NEED TO LEAVE!
