I should feel flattered!
A tune by Sky/John Williams
Aulos Haka alto
Its crazy that my Sigo tenor is shorter than my Aulos haka alto! Its witchcraft!
An exercise from the Trevor Wye book called A Short Tune. The score says Lento, which is pretty slow.(Not marked on my metronome but google tells me its close to largo). Playing slow is tricky and some notes are dotted (staccato) which is an extra challenge.

Getting back on the horse. I can manage to play flute now for a short period before feeling tired. A lot more positive feeling than playing clarinet which I find exhausting.
Anyone know of any responsible sellers of bansuri flutes in the uk?
Getting back on the flute, sort of. Easier on my lungs than clarinet with my Myeloma and I don't feel like I'm going to pass out!
I can do this, start from scratch, a little at a time. I just need to find my Trevor Wye book. Having to fall back on a very basic beginner's book that I got from Vinted last year.
Still struggling with those bottom notes and I know its me because if I fit the recorder head on the top I can get low C easily.
Could be the headjoint as its a cheap flute. If I had enough money I'd get something like a Yamaha 212.
But for now, soldiering on...

Transmitted light through a green filter with a dark spot to give dark ground illumination. Needs work and I need a clear glass filter!
The notice board on it says
"This memorial was erected by 5576 subscribers as a tribute to the memory of the brave men of Darlington who volunteered and served the empire in the South African war 1899-1902"
