I curated a massive producer resource sheet (Free Drumkits, VST/DAW Links, Mixing Guides, Preset Libraries & Contract Templates) — Free for everyone!

Hey everyone,

Over the years, I’ve bookmarked a ton of incredibly useful websites, tools, and files for music production. Instead of keeping them to myself, I decided to compile everything into one clean, organized spreadsheet called the Loconel Producer Archive.

My goal is to make this a community resource, so feel free to use it, bookmark it, and share it with anyone who needs it!

📂 What’s inside?

  • General Website Collection: Curated links for free sample packs, free plugins (if you know what I mean), loops, and tools.
  • Useful Files & Links: Free in-depth mixing guides/books, TikTok collections, and even a License Agreement Template if you sell beats and need a contract.
  • DAW & VST Resources: Guides and collections for specific software setups (including macOS-specific install tips).
  • U-HE VST Free Sample Libraries: A massive list of preset links for Diva, Hive, Zebra2, Podolski, and more.
  • FAQ Tab: Still empty but I can use this to answer certain questions I get a lot.

🔗 Link to the Archive:

Loconel Producer Archive

⚠️ Quick Note: I personally check communities like Reddit to see user reviews or check the reviews on the website before downloading anything from external sites like ru tracker to stay safe, and I highly suggest you do the same! Everything is shared to help you find resources faster.

If you have any suggestions, files, or links you think should be added to keep this archive updated, drop a comment below or shoot me an email (found in the Introduction tab).

Hope this helps some of you crush your next project! Let me know what you think.

macOS Sequoia Bug: Right-clicking while moving mouse causes cursor to "rubberband" / snap back (Third-party mice)

Hi everyone,

I am facing a highly disruptive bug in macOS Sequoia 15.7.7 that affects third-party mice (both 2.4G wireless dongles and native Bluetooth mice). The built-in trackpad works completely fine.

The Problem: If I right-click (secondary click) while actively moving the mouse across the screen, the cursor instantly locks up for a split second and then forcefully "rubberbands" or jumps back to the exact coordinates where the right-click initially occurred.

On the empty desktop, this bug completely fails to open the context menu. The menu only opens if I stop moving and keep the mouse perfectly still. It seems like the macOS Sequoia WindowServer misinterprets a right-click during motion as a mouse-drag/drag-and-drop action, drops the click event, and snaps the cursor back.

Specs: MacBook Pro 16" (2021, M1 Pro), macOS 15.7.7. Tested with multiple external mice.

What I've tried:

  • Completely disabled mouse managers (LinearMouse, Mac Mouse Fix).
  • Reset the Bluetooth daemon via Terminal (pkill bluetoothd).
  • Changed ApplePeripheralTapSpeed via defaults.
  • Toggled "Spring-loading" (Openspringen) and "Force Click" off.

This is absolutely killing my workflow in professional audio software (FL Studio) where right-clicking while moving is essential for deleting items.

Has anyone found a Terminal command or a way to tweak the mouse-drag threshold in Sequoia to stop the OS from trapping the cursor like this? Any help is greatly appreciated!

macOS Sequoia 15: Severe right-click delete lag and cursor rubberbanding / jumping in FL Studio 2025 (Third-party mice)

Hey guys,

I'm running into a incredibly frustrating workflow-breaking bug with FL Studio 2025 on macOS Sequoia 15.7.7, and I wanted to check if anyone else is experiencing this or found a fix.

The Issue:

Whenever I right-click to quickly delete a note in the Piano Roll or a clip in the Playlist while my mouse is moving, there is a severe delay. Worse, the cursor physically "rubberbands" or jumps back to the exact location where I initialised the right-click. If I hold the mouse perfectly still, it deletes (with a slight delay), but if I'm moving across the screen, the cursor just snaps back.

Crucial detail: If I use the Delete Tool (D) and use left-click to delete while moving, it is 100% instant and flawless.

My Specs:

  • Device: MacBook Pro 16-inch (2021, M1 Pro, 16GB)
  • OS: macOS Sequoia 15.7.7
  • FL Studio: v25.2.5 [build 5055] (Tested natively AND via Rosetta)
  • Mice tested: A 2.4G wireless mouse via a hub, and a brand new native Bluetooth mouse. Same issue on both.

What I've already tried (none of it worked):

  • Turning off Click-and-hold & special gesture functions in FL Studio.
  • Lowering GUI animations to 'Regular' and turning off Force Refreshes.
  • Resetting macOS Accessibility and Screen Recording permissions.
  • Disabling utilities like LinearMouse/Mac Mouse Fix and resetting the macOS Bluetooth module via Terminal.

I discovered that this actually happens outside of FL Studio as well (right-clicking the desktop while moving causes the cursor to jump and the context menu fails to open). It seems macOS Sequoia misinterprets a moving right-click as a drag-and-drop event.

Has anyone encountered this specific Sequoia mouse bug and found a workaround inside FL Studio to bypass how it hooks into the macOS mouse coordinates? Using the D tool or Ctrl + Left Click works, but it completely destroys the muscle memory. Thanks!

Waves for Macos Sequoia 15.7.7 - M1 Chip

Could someone please help me getting Waves to work on a M1 Macbook Pro running Macos Sequoia 15.7.7

I have been scrolling on Reddit for a long time but most of the posts I can find about this are over a year old. I have tried some different ways following what others posted on Reddit. Mosts of the posts are over a year old and did not work for me so maybe it's patched.

I tried installing the official V15 installer from the Waves website and I found a V15 patcher here on Reddit. Installed 1 plugin to test if it worked, after that I ran the patch, restarted my computer, opened FL Studio, scanned for plugins, opened that one plugin and ... it was still in demo mode.
