Which places to live are the least controversial?
I’ve noticed that every time someone asks, “is this wee little town a good place to live,” said wee little town gets called a shithole and a cesspool.

Tá súil agam go mbeidh sé coitianta.
A chairde,
I have a question. Now, Amhrán na bhFiann was an Irish translation of an English song. The original lyric wasn’t this: “Ní fhágfar faoin tíorán ná faoin tráill.”
Now, my Irish isn’t great but in so far as I can tell, those are two different lyrics entirely. The english one reads as humanitarian, suggesting that Ireland should serve as home to those seeking to flee oppression. The Irish version, however, literally reads, “(Ireland) will not be left under the tyrant nor the slave.” I assume this means that Ireland will not be left under tyranny nor slavery.
But that just isn’t the same line. When people translate Amhrán na bhFiann, they don’t translate the Irish translation. They just look at the english version and write that line. In looking at this, that seems to be a mistake.
So what’s going on here? Did Liam Ó Rinn deliberately make this change to suit his politics or am I misreading something?
I genuinely am struggling. I’ve found most of the language files with no issue, but other assets are harder.
For example, the screen that shows when you load the game. I can’t find the Welcome to Animal Crossing asset, and I assume there’s one for each language.
Thanks!
I don’t know how much more there is to say. I’m very curious.
An gnáthrud é fág ar lár seo píosa? "(Fad saol agat) gob fliuch, agus bás in Éirinn "
Shamhlódh mé cuid mhaith daoine. Feicim an difear, ar ndóigh
