Wearing my great grandfathers ring

My great grandfather celebrated becoming a citizen of the US in 1924 by getting this ring. I wear it on US holidays to remember him, he died when he was 28. It took me a while to figure out what the ring meant since it didn’t match anyone’s weddings or birthdates. But I found a record of his citizenship through ancestry in July 1924.

I love the Chelsea bag so much

My extremely practical and frugal mother just told me these two bags are different enough to keep both so I guess I gotta listen to her right? 🙈 I got the right Chelsea large back in February and the smaller terracotta one yesterday on sale. Contrary to how this looks I do not own a lot of bags but it looks like I’m keeping both 🙈 🤎

F/38/5’8” [164lbs>148lbs=16 lbs lost] (4 months) feeling better about myself than I have in a while

Photo is from last year, but I started losing weight intentionally about 4 months ago. I broke my humerus in Jan ‘25 and my recovery was brutally long. I told myself that when I was better I would take my health more seriously. Up to that point I was taking pretty much everything in my life for granted. I started by walking 4 miles a day and counting calories, prioritizing fiber and protein and hydration. I’ve now added in some body weight training and dance classes for fun.
