Recent car accident. Dr having trouble deciphering if I have a concussion or tension headache. Anyone have similar symptoms?

I recently got into a car accident Tuesday and the airbag deployed. My vehicle collided with the other vehicle and I yanked forward and my head hit the steering wheel airbag, left airbag above to window and bag on the front airbag(if I recall correctly). I fell dizziness and shock instantly but didn’t loose consciousness. I called 911 and was extremely alert and had my adrenaline rushing through me naturally. I think this carried me through for a few hours until the end of my hospital stay before being discharged. I noticed my sense of smell was off, completely non existent. The next day, I started feeling intense pressure in the top of my head, behind my eyes and couldn’t focus. I threw up once.
Haven’t since. ER said ct and X-rays looked fine

From Friday til today, I have been feeling moments of dizziness, balance issues here and there. At the ER as well as following up at urgent care yesterday, they did the “follow my finger” test which the doctor said I was a bit delayed in following. My sense of smell has recovered a bit but I still feel quite odd. As though Im lost a bit, unable to focus properly, changing from feeling angry, to emotional, sad, pissed off etc.

I was told I sounded a bit incoherent/ rambling/ slurring my speech earlier today on the phone. I took a nap and after a few hours, I noticed my
Head had pain in the front and back, maybe 4/10 that comes and goes.

I can be in front of screens although they start to bother me after a while. Sounds and lights bother me a bit I’ve begun to notice. I have difficulty remembering to do things right away which is odd because I usually have a good memory and can focus quite well before the accident.

Just wondering if anyone with a concussion has shared symptoms? I know nobody here can diagnose me, I’m just looking to see if there are similar experiences. I’m going to be seen by a neurologist soon. A referral was sent out when I went to urgent care.

I totaled my Camry in a recent accident. What 4 door Lexus sedan I can get under 20k?

Hello friends

A few days ago, I got into an accident. Other driver caused a collision and I’m being told by both insurances they’re finalizing liability to be in my favor

20k is my budget. I’ve always been a silent watcher in this sub and I’m a big biggie fan so you know I’ve gotta get a Lexus a play his songs in there. In all seriousness though, the luxury, reliability and affordability(in some cases) is what I appreciate about Lexus.

My 2017 Camry was a gem. I loved everything about it. Took care of it like it was my baby. I know Lexus is more expensive but I would like to get some opinions on what car to get. I’m willing to go from 2000- 2016. I would like to stay away from anything that’s over 100k miles, but for the right car that’s well maintained, I’ll definitely make an exception.

If any of you have a Lexus that doesn’t fit this description but you recommend it, please by all means don’t hesitate to mention it.

How to proceed after recent accident? Unsure if I should hire an attorney

I am quite lost on how to proceed, mostly because of how I’m feeling right now due to an accident I got into two days ago. A guy did an illegal u turn and sped right in front of me as I was going north. I had no way of actually avoiding him and T boned him.

Police told me he admitted on scene that he caused the collision, they ticketed him
And included all of this on the police report. I know this doesn’t determine liability and that that is up to the insurance. I have a pounding headache, I’m nauseous, I’m dizzy, tired all the time, I’m anxious and can’t even get in an uber without being fearful an accident will take place. My neck hurts, my arms and wrists are sore.. legs are scratched up.

ER visit after the accident showed I didn’t have any fractures or internal bleeding. I completely am lost here on how to proceed. My insurance company knows all about this and told me they’re pushing to determine liability asap next week. I am so exhausted mentally that I just wa t some help here please

- should I speak to the other party’s insurance or wait for mine to determine liability first?
- should I hire an attorney or are my injuries not sufficient enough to justify hiring one?

Im in a pip state- NY. I am familiar with claims
And such. Just confused on how to proceed without shooting myself in the foot. Any advice would be appreciated

My insurance wants to have be bear the cost of charges from the tow yard. How can I fight this?

I recently got into an accident. I’m bruised up, got a minor concussion, sense of smell is iffy and I just can’t sleep, I’m having nightmares.. list goes on.

I tell my vehicle adjuster this when he calls to discus me going to pick up my stuff out of my car yesterday morning. By some fucking miracle, my concussed ass Ubers to the tow yard 30 mins away, I pack all my stuff up while the tow yard guy is trying to convince me to hold onto my car at their yard until I get a check from the insurance company. I tell him that I want the insurance company to go get the car right now and I fucking called the company that wants to get the car for my insurance directly and they agreed to come get it.

My vehicle adjusted then calls me back today to tell me that some dude at the yard won’t release my car unless my insurance agrees to pay $450 admin fee. He(dude at the yard) won’t confirm why he is charging this other than stating it’s because he was talking to me and the insurance. My adjuster says that I will have to incur the cost because he doesn’t see justification for charging that much comparable to other local tow yards. I’m fucking depressed as shit, I’m anxious, concussed. I’m in NY, so I’m in a no fault state. I have to pay for Ubers left and right because I don’t have anyone around to help me. I’m lost. I need help becuase I’m about to say fuck it and hire a lawyer. Is this even fair for him to try to deduct that amount from my bottom line? What do I even pay insurance for at that point

Police report confirms in writing that the other party made an illegal turn and got right in front of me abruptly. He was ticketed. I’m facing bad injuries. I need advice please bc I’m literally losing my mind

Got into a car accident. Wondering what my best course of action should be?

LOCATION: ALBANY, NY

NEW SYMPTOMS - chest pain,

I got into an accident today. I ran into a vehicle that was crossing the road illegally and gave me no space to move. T boned him and my airbags all went off. A police officer told me he admitted on body cam that he was at fault and illegally crossed the road. I believe they might have to include that in the police report if that holds any weight.

I don’t have any substantial injuries and did a full check up at the hospital. I’m in severe pain in my neck, legs and back. I have full coverage through my insurance, but I don’t have rental coverage. I want the best advice on how to proceed here. I’m foggy, I can’t focus, I lost my sense of smell, despite a CT scan and X-rays, nothing came up wrong. I’m losing my mind here because I have no idea what to do. I’m so stressed out, I’m in pain, I have lots of anxiety and I have to drive through that road everyday to get to work. I’m sure within a few days, I’ll get better hopefully but I also have read things could get worse pain wise. Per the X-rays and ct scans, I don’t have anything more than minor injuries but my pain is off the charts

It doesn’t help that I’m legit broke and I can’t cover the deductible without going into debt and I have no money saved up for a car (I know I will get the ACV before the accident).

Please give me advice as although I have full coverage I am quite stressed. Should I file with my insurance and then call a lawyer that doesn’t. Charge anything until the end of the case or bc I don’t have any major injuries asides from pain, should I just do this through my insurance myself? Thanks in advance

26f and 29m. At which point is a person valid to be concerned that their partner might do something stupid under the influence of alcohol?

My gf of 6 months loves going out with me as she feels safe to drink and dance. I love her company but I’m not a drinker myself. Over the last two weeks, there have been two concerning events that have taken place due to her alcohol consumption.

She drank two margaritas but was having clear conversations with me afterwards. I told her not bring her something to a friend of mine if asked about it as we were about to see this friend 15 minutes after she finished her drink. The friend is talking to her and asks her about what I told her not to mention and she looks at me, startles and then blurs out everything I told her not to say.

Yesterday, we were out with friends and she ran into another group of friends. While speaking about cover charge prices to a bar, I join in the convo stating they usually charge me X amount to which she replies with an attitude , “no they don’t, why are you being so dramatic” and goes back to talking to her friends. Mind you, she never pays so I don’t know what the hell she’d know about the amount they charge us as a cover.

When confronted, she says that she was intoxicated and doesn’t remember saying that at all and then when spoken to about it when sobered up, she says the same thing but apologizes just to move on from the topic.

at this rate.. I’m
Starting to worry about her being drunk when she’s not around me. She’s lovely in many ways, she’s grateful often, she’s supportive and kind, very loving, highly attracted to me etc. didn’t cause a scene or a fight when I confronted her. But I am starting to be doubting in my trust levels which I never had experienced before. Just looking to see if you can help me decipher if I’m just being insecure or not.. I’m worried something like this will continue to happen .. or worse

Gf(26f) gives me (29m)snarky remarks around her friends and has made me feel as though I’m being belittled. What else can I do to stop this?

We were leaving the club and she had gotten a tad bit tipsy. Her friend Tom spots her and calls her out. He was with his gf Jenna and I had met them once previously. We’re all making conversation and my gf says that they’re increasing the fee to get in to $15 because there was a special event. I tell her, “oh I usually am charged that to in anyway” to which she says, “they never charge you that, you’re being dramatic” in a bit of a rude tone then goes back to talking to her friends. It’s funny because she never pays for the entrance fee and is usually out by the bar after I finish paying for us when we go to that same club.

There was another instance in front of the same friends where we were playing some game called Heads Up and it took me a second to think of the answer as I’m not from the same country as them and it took me a moment to remember the name of something. She kept asking “what’s wrong with you” as I was forgetting things and admittedly a bit tipsy. She didn’t have a smile on her face and just was sort of being rude.

Her response when confronted here is, “ I don’t remember doing that but if I did then it’s nothing anything that serious. All my friends joke like this around each other and other couples”

To me it seems rude and when I tell her she’s dismissive or tells me there’s a cultural difference (this is such an excuse) etc. I never speak to her in a demeaning way in front of others. She’s met my friends and I was very courteous and made strong attempts to get to bond with them as she’s the anxious type. Please give me your input as I don’t know if I’m being a sissy here or if I have valid reasoning
