Attempted to make a char siu at home. Nailed the marinade but was in a rush and only got 4 hours to marinade so it lacked a ring where the marinade got into the pork.
Anyone have any suggestions or experience with making char siu?
Ok, so several of you have expressed a want to hit the Jadetown half lamb so let’s hit it! If there are enough people we will escalate to the whole lamb which is $699. I’ll confirm how many sides it comes with. I can’t from memory remember.
I’ve done the full lamb 4 times now and it’s an excellent! First time we did it with 33 people and it was plenty and last time we ordered it and ate it in Potters Park
If we can rally 15 people that’s $26.6/head + drinks for the half lamb. Please note it is a halal restaurant so they don’t serve liquor.
I’m thinking 1st or 4th of August.

Somebody left their phone at Pier 1 or the downtown ferry terminal. It was left at [pic 1] rhe phone and cards are [pic 2] if anyone knows this person tell them to pick it up from the kiosk. I’ve handed it in there and the security guard has possession of the phone. Please bring ID to claim
