Does anyone know if I can disconnect my service at my local office when ai return my equipment?
The CSR on the phone spent nearly an hour trying to get me to stay even though I told her “NO” countless times. I finally had to hang up because it was time for another appointment, but my service still isn’t disconnected.
I’m in the process of changing ISPs from Xfinity coax to Frontier fiber.
I have been using the Netgear Orbi 960 quad band wi-fi 6E mesh system with one satellite and have been happy with my wi-fi speed.
Unfortunately, Xfinity’s constant rate increases have prompted this move for financial savings.
Frontier uses Eero 7 Pro routers when they install the service, but even though this is a wi-fi 7 router I am concerned about performance loss due to the lack of a backhaul band and I’m not going to hardwire a backhaul.
Question…can I simply disable the wi-fi in the Eero settings and utilize it as just a gateway to connect to my existing Orbi system?
Several weeks ago I had to restore my Apple Watch Ultra 3 to its factory default settings and set it up again as a new Apple Watch.
Since doing that I have successfully restored all functionality…including adding all of my credit cards to Apple Wallet - EXCEPT for my Discover card.
I have tried every troubleshooting technique I can think of. After adding it as a previous card failed, I tried deleting the card and adding it as.a new card.
I first try to add it using the phone scanning feature…which added it again to my phone but not my watch. I deleted it again…and again tried adding it as a new card manually on my phone with the same result!
I deleted it again and lastly tried entering it manually directly into the wallet app on my watch - and again the same result!
Finally I called Discover but they said they saw no trouble codes returned from my account and said “ it must be an Apple problem”!
They told me to call Apple however that made no sense to me since I was able to add four other cards plus my Apple Card with no problem.
It seems like there is some kind of security block either on the watch app or the card causing the problem but I have no idea how to resolve it - so it’s time to reach out on the internet via Reddit to see if there is someone out there who might know how to correct this!
