Now ik most of you will say Welingkar as obvious but while scrolling through LinkedIn I found many MET folks into investment banking , Equity research idk how and hardly anyone I found in IB from Welingkar, most of them are into BFSI backend process , ik welingkar have better numbers but wtf was MET alumni section shocked me a bit .

Also do anyone know Avg package of any of these colleges like actual one , the google shows 13lpa which is fabricated I got to know

Any atheist who cleared CA without much praying, mannat and all , what you guys do before 5 minutes of results ?

As an atheist I focus on just studying what required but my parents as hardcore believer keep pressuring me for some daily minor rituals, like it contains murmuring mantraas , aarti , similar stuffs like this for 5 times a day , they’re main reason for me being atheist, and they keep increasing their demands towards religious stuff every week , im spiritual but non believer. They keep saying i will fail and all daily .

Though i respect believers and participate in festivals but if someone pressurises me daily to follow something as not doing it will make me failure thats what I hate about it .

Seeking honest opinions

So last 3 months I used to study till 2 and then sleep by 3 max , but recently shifted to new house last month , here I put all nighter for a week and used to sleep at morning , from 7 to 12 , but yesterday I got to bed earlier at 1 am but horribly was just lying awake till 6 am like wtf , I was just overthinking wo knowing its already 6 , and today same thing is happening but instead of sleeping , just started doing audit now but even if I study till morning after that I wont feel sleepy too , this is resulting poor concentration on my studies donno what to do , getting dark circles, fatigue frequently , it feels like am a moving dead body .

Should I invest my time on this so it can help me anyway getting into corporate law ?

Was very excited to start law journey targeting litigation ( white collar etc ) as first gen , I asked about others journey on another legal subreddit where they commented they aren’t even making 50k pm after 10 years practice which made me questioning my all decisions, still restless since then , corporate chances for my colleges are low but not impossible its one of best college in mumbai though
Still im not dependent on corporate fully .

The things isn’t that I want to make lakhs initially but atleast after 7-8 years of practice making 1 lakh is important for me due to my fathers retirement , Still my brain is heavy due to all this I had scored good percentile at cet 3 yr llb

If anyone knows any who’s doing great as first gen lawyer at young age pls share some examples atleast those would lift me and motivate me again to follow my passion…!

Starting 3-year LLB , Mumbai this year (20M).
We are financially stable now but can’t say about future , my dad is managing to pay the bills for now. By the time I complete my LLB, I’ll be 23. My dad’s retirement is when I turn 28, with no backup, no passive income, and no pension. We stay in a posh area so a high income is a must, and all we have is this house.

I’m fucking scared of making just ₹40k–50k/month by age 28, which will leave us financially weak. Many people told me not to pursue law because even after the degree, you have to work under a senior lawyer for years before starting an independent practice, with real income kicking in only after 4–5 years—taking way too long to match my father's income and survive here.

Is there any way to make at least a Lakh/month after 5 years of graduating? My corporate law chances are low because of doing a 3-year LLB at that too not from GLC mumbai but ( KC college ) which is good but cant say about tier 1 law placement , though I will still try. Please advise how to maximise earnings during the initial years in litigation in Mumbai.
