My husband and I have been researching areas in Colorado for the last few years and are trying to find that sweet spot between affordability and quality of life.

We’ve heard Colorado Springs tends to be one of the more affordable areas for rent, but we’d love to hear from people who actually live in the state.

For context, we’re coming from Appleton, WI where rent is usually around $1–2k/month. We’re still deciding whether we’d start by renting or jump into buying a house.

Ideally, we’d like to be close to a bigger city or at least within an easy drive of one. I work remotely, but my husband would be looking for a new job once we move.
