Yesterday I received my Google fiber router for my new apartment. Set it up as instructed and everything appears to be correct yet I'm being met with connectivity issues through the app and cannot access or set up a wifi connection. Have contacted support and worked on it with them for an hour, but left with no resolution or explanation of what's going on. Has anyone else experienced this and found a fix?

I've just moved into my new apartment that has Google fiber as it's internet provider. Today i got the router, set it up, had all three lights a solid color (green, green, solid white/pale green) + the jack correctly set up but was not able to set up my wifi at all. I tried the website as well and had no luck. I was met with "poor connectivity" or "your internet connection is down". Spent thirty minutes on a call that resolved in nothing, and now the situation has been escalated.

I've tried a separate router that is also showing that everything's set up correctly, yet no wifi connection. Has anyone else dealt with and resolved this issue? What might be causing this?

Second day in my apartment I found this in my cupboard. All of my furniture is moved in already.

What's the best course of action? Spiraling a bit. My roommates and I aren't in a financial situation where we can have our furniture infested or needing replaced

Any advice welcome

First day sleeping in my new apartment this was crawling on me. About the size of a grain of rice. All of our furniture is moved in and I'm terrified about them possibly getting infested with anything too. I've seen two similar to this now
