I have a weak background in math and chem and no background at all in physics … trying to prepare myself for Engineering.. I see all the fear mongers on campus and from people around me… I love engineering tbh especially electronics … but people are making me feel like a loser😭

Hello I recently got accepted into SMU’s engineering program and I am nervous because I don’t come from a science background… I am thinking about taking fundamental mathematics 1190 and fundamental physics in my first semester and during my winter semester I can take calculus 1 and physics 1 but I still don’t know if professors teach these courses over the winter… please give me an advice🫶🏻
I am an incoming engineering student. I am worried about that math placement test thing. What happened if you fail, are you gonna be kicked out the program?
