Printing vs cursive
Now that cursive is not taught in school when the next generation “signs” their checks it will be printed. Is this an acceptable “signature “ now?

Shorts
Added the lace behind the holes and a few flowers for my granddaughter. She loves them.
Used stick on pattern. It makes it so easy for a beginner like me.
Edit to add: shorts and a lace doily were thrifted. Total cost was 6.50. I had the wash away patterns and embroidery needs.
