BFS not yet diagnosed, muscle sharp pain.

Hey everyone so I’ve been around here for 2 months now

I began twitching at the end of June and well I’ve been dealing with pain on arm when lifting things, basically tiredness and all of that

I had a EMG on my right arm 1 week ago, it was normal, but yeah so basically I’ve been trying to keep with my normal life, going to work and doing all the same things as before.

But, I’ve been still experiencing aches, today I went to the gym since 3 weeks ago when I noticed a ton of pain on my tricep. My pain on tricep is still there when working out, I am able to do exercise but it hurts a fucking lot. I had twitches on that arm as well last week.

Now, I also exercised my legs and I still have pain on my right calve muscle, it hurts the same way as the right tricep. I have waken up during these days with left arm fingers numbed, not sure if related to it.

I have been still anxious by not having gotten a full body EMG, but I’m trying to think positive.

By the way, the pain in muscles and right arm still happens even without going to the gym. They have been on my arm during this past month just by lifting heavy things during grocery shopping, and those things make my muscles tired and start with pain.

Is there a reason for those kinds of sharp pains? Are those related to BFS? I have noticed less twitching, but it still happens from time to time on the right leg or some other parts of the body.

Symptoms are still bad. 2 days after EMG

Hey guys I have been dealing with this almost 2 months and just got an EMG which was clean on my arm according to my neurophysiology and I was okay with that.

I have been still spiraling and worried because I got my EMG only on my right arm and not full body, my twitches are being full body, they started on right leg but my right arm was the one that felt the most tired.

And it sucks to feel this way even after a clean EMG, I’ve been taking if maybe it was too soon or should have tested the whole body just to be sure I will be fine.

My bicep on right arm have been twitching like crazy today, I can feel an internal tremor as well, it’s been going since the EMG so I don’t know if it has to do with my arm getting tested and shocked and that’s why I’m twitching more than before

How are people who got EMGs able to move on? Should I try to find the reason why am I twitching? It’s crazy to feel this way

How to overcome spiraling after getting results?

Hey BFS community, so I’ve[M26] been dealing with all this situation since 7 weeks ago

It was first twitches on right leg and then on full body, mainly on right leg, then right arm and perceived weakness and tiredness on right arm

I got a quick referral to a neurologist, then an EMG which was done recently, it was a clear EMG, but that one was only on my right arm and not my right leg.

Because of this I’ve been spiraling thinking about “what if” being too soon, being only on my right arm and not the rest of limbs.

It’s hard because I know I have health anxiety, but I still got tiredness on my arm and well it looks it’s not related to nerves

How did you guys overcome this?

Internal tremor on forearm making me worried, is this a concern?

Hey so I have been dealing for about 7 weeks with twitches and weird feelings on my body. In general the most concerning has been feeling things are more heavy on my right arm.

I actually have tried to be more relax until my EMG this Monday, but the past couple days I’ve been noticing along with more twitches on right arm (the same one all my issues are happening) a new tremor that appeared on my forearm

It basically buzz or is a constant tremor moving my forearm and make it shake while it’s not moving it hasn’t stop so it’s constant.

Is this BFS? Or is something more worrisome or related to other issue?

Did I make a bad choice by buying mesh router system?

Hey so today I got a Mesh system for a very cheap price, is a Deco TP Link, I have been using the router from my ISP but they charge me every month so buying this Mesh system for $25 seemed as a good deal as I looked online and it’s $100 without any deal.

Anyway, I replaced my old router and I can notice my speeds are around the same, but I have way more intermittence issues than before like for some moments my speed low then high like not as reliable as before. My network is 500mbps and I’m getting around 400mbps but my laptop got 100 and it’s intermittent.

I live in an apartment, router and connection is on living room and mesh system is on my bedroom, I was not getting 100% signal on my bedroom so I thought it would be good.

Would have I been better buying a router for the same price ($25) or should I keep this mesh system?
I’m new to home networking so don’t know if I can improve my signal.

How to handle anxiety plus twitching until EMG?

Hey community.

So I have been around here for 6 weeks, since all the twitching started.

I have been having twitches all over my body, mainly on both legs, chest recently under my right ribs, and my forearm and right arm.

My twitches on right arm have gotten worse I think, I was just using my phone talking on video call and while grabbing it my forearm twitched and moved the phone, I’m concerned of it.

I have an EMG next Monday and that would be 7 weeks after this whole situation, would that be too soon? What should I ask on that appointment?

I would like to test all my body and want to find answers of why my body is twitching but I’m anxious and would like to know what to expect and how to not be afraid in the meantime.

Scared of getting an EMG - Have an appointment next week

Hey guys so I[26M] have been around for a few weeks here, I was able to get a neurologist appointment on week 6 since this started happening (the twitches) and it was okay I guess.

Neuro did a clinical exam testing my strength and didn’t found anything bad on my body. But recommended an EMG just to discard anything going on with my nerves on my body, so I got scheduled for one next week (week 7 of twitching)

I just want to know what to expect and how not to be afraid of it, I’m not afraid of the process, I am scared of getting something bad with it on my arm

My arm has been sored, it hurts just like it is right now, I still have twitches on it, also sometimes in other parts of my body. I don’t know if I’m overwhelmed but feel my grip on right hand slightly off as I just showered and felt different grabbing sponge than left hand.

I also have been doing SSRI for 3 years and saw that liver damage could be related to the bad disease, but don’t know if that’s true. I got scared by it.

Anyway, has anyone with a case similar than mine gotten an EMG and everything turned out good? I just want some support in the meantime

Anyone else get one arm pain, fatigue with twitching there and whole body?

I’ve seen many posts about twitching alone or twitching with leg weakness, but not many about one arm becoming tired or painful more easily.

My grip sometimes feels less secure, and I’ve dropped utensils or bottles. I can still pick things up, but that arm gets tired and hurts faster when carrying heavy things or doing triceps exercises.

Compared to my left one, my right arm feels in pain, off and more fatigued, i can definitely use it, but it feels it can damage my muscle at any moment, but I’m concerned of this being the first symptoms of something bad. Just carrying my lunch today I had a major pain walking 2 blocks with it on my right hand.

I went to a walk-in clinic, and they didn’t find weakness during the strength test. They mentioned possible muscle loss or compensation because I’ve been feeling more prone to get tired, and that my loose skin might be muscle loss I didn’t notice and told me to follow up with my PCP or neurologist.

Has anyone else experienced this?
can anyone relate or has someone been through the same just to get diagnosed with bfs?

Has someone been able to go away from A*S spiral?

I think I went into the spiral.

Started with some things, now with others, went to physical testing. And it seems I have no weakness so far. I have some issues still going on tho. Waiting for more testing.

Has someone else gotten into this spiral? How did you guys get out of it?

Tricep twitches and pain, is my tricep losing muscle?

Hello, so basically I have been dealing with twitches for the last 2 months, I’ve been feeling aches and my right arm is more prone to weakness/tiredness for some reason.

What I noticed today, and I know I should have not done that. It’s that while testing my tricep, my pain was coming specifically from my elbow.

And I read that knee pains and elbow pain could be from compensation when muscle loss is happening. I’m concerned of having muscle loss on arm and noticing it with pain, perceived weakness and now elbow pain.

Besides that I can feel my grip more loose and I can notice loose skin on my right arm

Could this be a mdn or something bad? What can I do to stop worrying? Thanks in advance.

Can’t open water bottle with index and thumb, am I in danger?

I just tried to open my water bottle with only index and thumb. I cannot do it with my right hand, I can only do that with my left fingers, no matter how hard I try.

I have been feeling twitches on my body, feel like my gripping is bad and now this. Also I have been having pain on my bicep and tricep, not sure if that’s because they’re weaker

Is this a bad signal? I’m getting bloodwork this weekend.

I can share a video I took of it
