Whenever I sit down, my indigestion is a million times worse. It feels like it becomes more difficult to burp and like the lump in my throat is the size of a golfball. Does anyone have experience with these symptoms and if so do you know what it ended up being?

Hi all! Getting induced next Monday due to some ongoing stomach issues. Have had really bad reflux and nausea my whole pregnancy. Everyone’s always like “you’ll feel so much better!” yadadada. I’m just curious if it’s an instant relief from the nausea/fullness/heartburn feeling or if it took some time? Literally DYING to feel even an inkling better at this point and to be able to eat more than a few bites without suffering for hours 😅

After about 10 months of the worse reflux flare up of my life, I’m finally about to get an endoscopy & hopefully get some answers. Gerd flared up really badly right before pregnancy last November, got pregnant & was unable to get my scheduled endoscopy. Now about to give birth in a few weeks & FINALLY get an endoscopy. GI suspects I have a hiatal hernia and esophagitis, but this has been the hardest thing I’ve ever gone through, especially with pregnancy magnifying all of these symptoms. I am so scared that whatever’s going on won’t be able to be fixed or I’ll never be able to eat normally again because of dealing with these symptoms for so long at this point with no answers. Does anyone have any success stories? Currently on 20mg of Voquenza (approved by OBGYN). Don’t really think it providing much relief, but not expecting much relief at this point in pregnancy anyways.

GI doctor switched me from 40mg of Omeprazole (20mg twice daily) to 20mg of Voquenza a day. Getting an upper endoscopy in September, wondering if anyone’s had success with Voquenza? Also, has anyone had any issues just stopping Omeprazole? My main symptoms are globus, reflux (non-acidic) and like throat tightening
