Help hit 4000+ calories on a cheat day. Ruining my diet

hey folks, i’m 25m. every weekend me and my office mates end up going to a party, and i honestly can’t avoid it because that’s pretty much my only social life right now. i live alone, so if i skip it i just feel really isolated.

i used to think i’ll make it a planned cheat day and it will be fine, but it’s kind of ruining my progress. one cheat meal turns into a whole day, then the next day also feels off, and somehow the whole week’s effort feels wasted.

overall my weekly deficit also becomes very low <100 after the big cheat day. Would appreciate any advice other than generic control yourself because I have been trying that for couple months it's clearly not working. Thanks for reading
