Need advice
Ok for context i am 24 male and i work for my brother detailimg cars and other car stuff i am the manager of all the employees my brother cannot keep employees but i live in the shop so im in a predictament he wants to charge me $500 a month to live in the shop it is not livable and he does not own it he rents it he complains about me not working everyday but i almost never get paid on time he says because im the manager i have to deal with that and he withholds checks if i dont work everyday while my coworkers get paid but i have to wait almost a month even though i do most of the work he only complains when i dont work everyday i am his best worker hes ever had we dont have any type of contract so im not sure what my rights are i domt have a 10-99 or w-2 im pretty sure im getting payed under the table but he says that he pays me through cash app so its up to me to do all that so im not sure he also changed my pay from $20 a hour to $16 because i wasnt there everyday without my knowledge then only said something whwn i brought it up and i will admit i missed a goodamount of time i had a kidney stone and had a drinking problem and i use to struggle to work everyday but ive done way better now im not sure if im in the wrong or not another thing is we use a lot of corrosive chemicals and acid and have no gloves my friend tells me i can get him in trouble for making me pay rent in a place he dont own and not zoned for living im just not sure what to do i really just wanna get out of here but im waiting until i pay off a truck if you have questions just ask
