SSS mat ben

Hi! First time mom/preggy here. Nung nalaman kong buntis ako, nag-hulog ako kagaad ng contri ko for the qualifying period ng due date ko. Which is Oct first week. Buong 6 months lang yung bayad, buong qualifying period. The month before that, hindi nakapag hulog since unemployed ako. So balak o lang talaga is makuha yung 70k na mat ben since naka max din hulog ko, which is 3k.

Ngayon, since Oct first week nga ang due date ko. And given my situation, may gestational hypertension ako, in-ask ko OB ko if pwede akong i-sched na lang for CS, like 37-38 weeks, around 2nd to 3rd week ng Sept yun and it’s not my due date. Now ang question ko, how much ang makukuha ko if ganun nga ang nangyare at hindi ako manganganak ng Oct? Maleless ba yung 70k?

Placenta prematurely aging

Moms! Anyone experienced having aging placenta? Currently 33 weeks and had my BPS result, though perfect score naman. Everything is okay, even baby’s weight. Placenta is Grade II-III and prematurely aging. Should I be worried? Will visit my OB tom. I just wanna know pregnant moms who experienced this.

Car seat for new born?

Malapit na mag-full term. Sa hospital kung saan ako manganganak is two hours away from our house. Iniisip ko yung pag-discharge namin. Do you think it’s okay na i-car seat ang baby ng ganung katagal? FTM here, btw. Or a nursing pillow will do? Let me know your thoughts. You can reco a car seat too na pwede from NB to toddler.

Stepmoms, what’s your best advice for handling a stepchild?

I’m a step mom and a FTM since I have a baby on the way. I’ve been a step mom since her dad and I are married for 7 years already. The step child is a girl and 12 years old already. Still, picky eater pa rin siya. Is that normal for that age na mapili pa rin sa pagkain/ulam? She doesn’t like the food we eat especially gulay and I told my husband na ayaw ko ng ganon since I cook food everyday with effort and love. I don’t wanna judge the other parent pero mahilig siya sa processed food which is bad. I remember the child is asking me she wanted instant pancit canton so I told her to buy two for the both of us, since naiwan siya sakin last time. After consuming the canton, nabitin daw siya and wanted more. Pinagbigyan ko and nagulay ako kasi she bought two!! Sa kanya lang daw yun since one canton is enough for me.

I don’t want the issue na sakin manggaling na pagmumulan ng conflict between me and the child kasi pinipigilan at ayaw kong pagalitan yung bata.

This is a rant and me, asking for tips, if should I be gentle din like her dad o discipline the kid in my own way, in my own terms?

Naka-ilang ultrasound kayo sa buong pagbubuntis niyo?

For context, I am 33, I can say na low-risk yung pregnancy ko as of now and hoping it will be until I deliver. I’m 21 weeks. No spotting ever, no SCH sa mga previous ultrasound ko, always checking ako ng BP, so far, all goods naman, normal FBS ko last month, checking na lang ng OGTT next month, but with history of miscarriage last 2023.

But it doesn’t matter daw sabi ni ob-sono.

My next and third will be on June pa, for CAS ultrasound na ko.

Though I know it’s safe. I sneeze kanina at may lumabas sakin, not quite sure if it’s the water or urine. I really can’t tell since my konting discharge din. Though konting water lang yun. Should I go for another ultrasound kahit di inadvice ng OB?

FTM here, my MIL doesn’t seem to like my newborn boundaries.

I am halfway through this pregnancy and hubby and I are already talking about baby rules.

Very important rule: I don’t like other people kissing our baby. Wether you’re my parents, siblings and in laws. Then one time, binanggit ng husband ko sa MIL ko while I’m there, pabiro niyang sinabi yun. pero the way she reacts, parang kumokontra. Na parang hindi pwede. MIL and I got no problem. Pero ayoko ng kumokontra when I am the mother that set these rules.

I also told my husband after namin ma-discharge sa hospital, I wanted to stay for at least two days sa bahay namin, on OUR home. No visitors muna. Which I don’t like. We love to figure things out on our own since first time parents kami. And if I needed something or help, lalapitan ko is mismong mother ko.

EDD ko nga is by Oct. at hesistant pa ko na ipabinyag si baby ng Dec. kasi 2 months pa lang siya by then. Parang ayoko muna siyang ilabas.

Do you think we are overreacting? Or is it the MIL?

Though malakas ako magwater during the day. Do you think it’s okay na ilimit ko siya bago matulog? Ginagawa niyo rin ba yun?

Problem/Goal: I am being asked to increase my child support payments beyond what I can realistically afford, and I need to clarify whether I am legally or fairly obligated to do so.

Context: I am a single father earning ₱40,000 per month. (I’m a govt employee) I have been consistently providing ₱9000 monthly for my daughter as previously agreed with her mother. I am now married again and my wife is currently pregnant, so I am also allocating savings for our upcoming baby and household expenses. My daughter will be entering college next school year, and her mother is now requesting a higher amount of financial support due to increased educational costs and enrollment in a more expensive institution.

Previous Attempts:
We had an agreement in place regarding the ₱9000 monthly support, which I have consistently followed without delay. I have also been managing my finances responsibly within my income, balancing my obligations to my current family and future child. While I understand the need for increased college expenses, I was not consulted regarding the decision to enroll our daughter in a more expensive school, and I did not agree to any increase in financial responsibility beyond what was originally arranged.

I’m a single dad, and my daughter will be entering college next school year. I earn ₱40,000 a month, and I’ve been consistently giving ₱9,000 monthly support, which was what my ex and I agreed on. I got married two years ago, and now my wife is pregnant. I’m currently budgeting carefully and saving for the baby’s birth and essential expenses for both my wife and child. Now, my ex is asking for a higher amount since our daughter is going to college. I understand that college expenses are higher, but increasing support significantly would be difficult for me given my current financial situation. I’m doing my best to fulfill my responsibilities as a father within what I can realistically afford. It’s also worth noting that the decision to enroll our daughter in a more expensive or prestigious school was not something we agreed on together. I’m open to discussing a reasonable arrangement, but it has to be within my financial capacity. Any advice?

5 buwang buntis.
