I wanna start Cambly as I am free at home..Is it worth it?

I am 21 yr old trying to make some side hustle for a while (maybe a month or two). My ethnicity is Indian but born and raised in United Arab Emirates...I speak English pretty much everywhere with friends and family.

I actually wanted to do some work from home stuff for a while to pay off some personal expenses of mine..I have good coding skills and stuff but those are too saturated nowadays and people barely need those. So I wanted to do something new and simple..maybe earn 20-40$ per day.

I came across Cambly through a WFH post and felt like I could do this..but I wanted some more guidance on it, on how it works and when do I start teaching and when do I get paid..and if there is any catch I would need to know beforehand.

For anyone who have done this, please guide me to the right direction. thanks a lot.🙏🏻

Need guidance on Digital Marketing

Hey there, I just started out freelancing a few months ago, I started with website Development and designs but since how saturated it was and I was just getting one-time payments, I switched to reputation management and helping businesses grow their Google Business Profile Optimization.

Currently I have no clients, and I have tried Cold DMs across various platforms but I get zero responses..Idk, many say cold dms are dead, many say they are not..Many say to do Email campaign, but to do one, I would need a capital and to get capital, I would need to work and to work, I would need someone to get my services🥲..Many say "Invest and the world will invest on you" but how will I be able to invest if I can't get anything to invest...I can invest time?..But that isn't valuable to people like money is.

People do say there are multiple methods out there, which I truly believe..But I don't know how I can find those..

I also realised that there are so many types of business and niche...but I definitely believe a lot might have been in my situation, so if anyone who has gone through my situation and have found a way,a method to overcome, I would love a guidance from y'all.

Nah fr, guidance guys😭..am kinda sensitive guys, so please no critics..Love y'all💪🏻

I don't understand freelancing...please help

Hey everyone,

I’m brand new to GoHighLevel (GHL) and trying to land my very first client by offering Automated Review/Reputation Management.

I’ve already built out a basic snapshot/workflow in GHL that sends automated review requests via SMS and email. Learning the software itself is straightforward for me, but I am completely stuck on lead generation and cold outreach.

I’ve tried several channels over the past few weeks, but each one hit a brick wall:

Instagram DMs: Hit strict daily limits quickly, and messages end up trapped in the "Hidden Requests" folder due to spam filters.

WhatsApp: Sent 20 fully personalized, non-generic messages to local businesses and got my account permanently banned.

Cold Email: Sent out campaigns with a 0% response rate.

Facebook Groups / LinkedIn: I see people recommend these constantly, but I haven't been able to figure out a repeatable process that actually yields conversations.

I don't understand if it's the way I have conversations with the people or if it's saturated already..

Where I’m Confused the most is with the Advice Contradictions:

I have tried learning how to open up and the more I learn the more confusing it gets...Some say open with a small and precise text(as business owners don't have time a lot to spend),and some say give long detailed texts(as business owners ignore texts with no detail and explaination)..some say don't pitch and start with a simple conversation(seems less salesy and more friendly),some say start with their problems(shows you have explored their world),some say don't point at their problems(they will assume you are trying to point their mistakes and misunderstand),some say don't use "I" or "We" a lot in the start(shows you are too concerned about yourself),some say use "I" and "We" (shows you are telling your purpose of texting and your services) and the list goes on..

And that's just with the opener..when it comes to which platform people speak the same way...Some say don't use Whatsapp,it's personal and private rather use platforms like Fiverr and Upwork...some say don't use Fiverr and Upwork since it's overly saturated and use direct platforms that help you connect with the owner...

The only common thing I see people tell is Facebook Groups and LinkedIn Groups and I have tried that a lot and I don't understand how it works,I even watched videos and still don't get any idea.

I really don't know where I am making the mistake or where I need to improve myself with, but I really am wanting to learn how all these works..

Anyone with a kind heart, please help me out get out of this situation...It would be really kind of y'all..You can ask any questions regarding what I do and how I do..I will surely provide all the information just to make sure what I am doing is right.🤍

Ohhh I just Loveee being an Indian Freelancer🤣..Do you guys face the same issue?

So my service is reputation management, tbh I just started out so I basically have no idea how to reach out..

I started Cold Reaching through WhatsApp and Instagram...But being an Indian has its propagandas...

They didn't even ask my purpose of contacting and directly assumed I am a "scammer".

Is this always the same for Indians?..how do y'all manage to get clients through Cold DMs?😂

Also I use my Indian Number to outreach since fake number are like paid and stuff I assume.

I build websites and DM business owners on Instagram. My opener probably sucks. Roast it.

I'm a full-stack dev doing freelance web work. Mostly showcase sites brand identity, portfolio, small business pages. I can do backend/DB/e-com too, I just haven't figured out how to position that yet, so I've parked it.

My channel is Instagram DMs. Two openers I've been using:

"Hey there, [my name] here. Would you mind if I build a free demo website for you / [the business]?"

"Hey there, I'm [my name]. I build SEO + AI-search-ready websites for cafés. Would you mind if I build a free demo for [the business]?"

Response rate is low. My guess is neither line actually says anything a business owner cares about. "Free demo" costs them time to look at, and "website" isn't a result , it's a deliverable. But I don't know what to replace it with.

Two questions:

Rate these. If you own a business and got this DM, would you reply or ignore? What's the actual reason? How can I fix?

If "I'll build you a website" isn't a valuable offer in 2026 , what is? Something I can sell that solves a real problem, not just makes them look nicer. Open to anything I can learn or already half-know.

Just help me save myself from burning another month with the same script lol😭

Why do clients ghost once they love a website built for them?

So lately I have been freelancing and I have got some leads.

The clients would love my projects/websites.. They would discuss the prize and would appreciate the work..they would tell me how they didn't expect that it would turn out this good, and they themselves tell me let's keep a meeting on such-such day at such time...But when its time for the Onboarding call, they won't show up, and after that they don't respond at all.

I have seen this with almost 3-4 clients (I barely got 5-6 clients in total, so if anybody knows how to get clients please help😭).

One guy said "I had told an agency to make a website but after you sent the demo, we told the agency we don't need because we liked yours"..He then told let's keep a meeting but didn't show up.

Another guy said "I'll send the amendments today and let's keep a meeting tomorrow, also I have another friends website, once you finish our website and get it live tommorow, I'll give you the details of his website and you try to fix it too"...But the next day he never came.

One guy literally screen recorded and posted the demo I built for him in his Instagram highlights with the title "Website Coming soon" and it's been a month now,no response.

Why is this happening?I get it they are busy but atleast, why dont they respond whenever they are free?💔
