Was anyone else kind of scared of rehomes when they first got into all of this?

I was SO new to Reddit and honestly I think I automatically assumed that if someone was selling a bag they loved, there had to be something wrong with it. Like why else would you get rid of it? 😂 And then you read a couple bad stories and of course those are the ones that stick in your head.

But the longer I’ve been around, the more I’ve realized that’s really not the case. There are always new styles coming out, collections change, your taste changes, your wardrobe changes, and sometimes you have to sell something you genuinely love to make room for something else.

I also think the longer you’re into bags, the more you start figuring out your own little preferences. I definitely know mine better now than I did a few years ago. What colors I actually wear, what shapes work for me, what I think is beautiful but probably won’t reach for, all of that.

Anyway, I’ve been super lucky with rehomes lately and wanted to share my two newest fall finds.🙏🏽

🤎 My medium Chanel 25 from the 25K Fall/Winter collection. This color is honestly so hard to photograph because it changes constantly depending on the lighting. Sometimes it looks burgundy, sometimes caramel, sometimes a lighter brown. I love it. And yes, I’m planning on using it as my baby/diaper bag when our newest little guy gets here in TWO WEEKS 😂 This one is from B🎂.

🍷 And my Chanel hobo in burgundy. I’ve learned that I personally gravitate toward deeper burgundies and Bordeaux shades. Brighter reds just don’t seem to work as well with me or my wardrobe, but this one is exactly the kind of burgundy I love. This one is from B🎂.

I think sometimes we hear the bad rehome stories and really cling onto those, when there are also so many good experiences and great people in this community.
So share yours! Good or bad.

Guys, I finally got my hands on the slouchiest, softest 38cm Maxi Flap and now I’m like… I DONT KNOW 😂😳

Obviously I knew 38cm was going to be a big bag when I ordered it lol but DANG. I think because the leather is so soft, slouchy, and movable, it almost feels even bigger when you’re carrying it because it kind of expands and puddles instead of holding a more structured shape. I’m 5’8 so I feel like I can comfortably pull off the size, but it’s definitely giving WHOAAA that is a BAG 😂

I have a 32cm coming too and I have a feeling that size might fit my everyday lifestyle a little better. However, I have a 14 month old and one on the way, due in October! I thought this would be a good mom bag, but now I’m wondering if I’m just overthinking the 38cm because I’m not used to seeing myself with something this big?! Even though it’s huge, it feels super light!

This one came from an unknown name factory. I have the factory photos, I just have no clue what the factory is actually called lol. It was $300 during a 10% off sale. I’d put it in the higher midtier range though. Full leather, really nice hardware, clean stitching, and the etching on the buckle on the handle is super crisp. Overall I’m really impressed with it.

I also really don’t think you necessarily need to spend $500+ to get this particular bag right. There just aren’t a million tiny details, complicated hardware pieces, or intricate stitching that have to be absolutely perfect. I think this is one of those styles where you can get a really beautiful bag without automatically jumping to God Factory or 187 prices.
ANYWAY I am very much on the fence about the SIZE, not the bag itself 😂 If you own the 38cm I need opinions! Do you love it? Hate it? Use it all the time? Does it eventually stop feeling enormous?! Tell me everything because I’m clearly trying to talk myself either into or out of keeping this thing 😂👜

Guys I’m actually shocked by how much I love this silly miu miu raffia woven tote bag! This bag cost me $130 with Felix (any seller can get this, use who you like to shop with / trust). It is from what he calls “Mingpai Factory” - the handles are real leather and the inside is a nice sheen silky like fabric. But for $130 I thought, “I’ll give it a try and see.” Well gosh darn it, I can’t stop wearing this thing! I wore it to the farmers market last weekend, and again the other day to pickup my son and take him for a haircut. It’s just so easy, spacious, and the colors are just enough of a pop for me. I’m blown away that out of all my bags… this straw bag seems to have stolen the cake for the moment! 🤎🩵

Holy Cow!!!! 🐮 Literally and figuratively.. the smell of leather that is filling up the entire room right now is insane. 😱 This bag is from 187 🏭 and was sold out… I ordered it with Heidi, she said she could get it for me and waited 8 weeks for it to come in. I was SO nervous about how the leather was going to look! Would it be too shiny!? Would it be a different color!? It felt kind of risky to me, because I always hear how leathers change from batch to batch, and colors can also vary from batch to batch, etc. But I am blown away with the color, the leather, the finish of the leather, everything! It was worth the wait! I don’t neeeeed the fancy packaging but hey, it is amazing to have and I’ll take it 🤣🤣 If you’ve been wanting this light baby blue C22 from 187, I am hear to say GET IT. A lot of sellers have access to 187, so go with who you trust and love shopping with 🩵🫶🏽

I swear, each one has its own use and function - that’s what I tell myself anyways! 🤣😎 There are so many amazing raffia choices out there, it’s honestly hard to choose just one. Out of these five, I think my kelly is my most used soley because it can go crossbody or top handle depending on the time of day.. but it’s a close call!! What do you think, are they all necessary?? How many do you have? What is your favorite? 🤩
