Regret spell? ( or any other recommendations)

Hi guys! I was wondering if anyone had an easily accessible regret spell?

I would like to target my mother. She’s always verbally abusive from a young age and while it has gotten better it’s still pretty rampant. I’ve been able to recognize the deep seated impact it’s had on me and while I’ve tried to explain my perspective, my parents don’t seem to understand since they’re immigrants and that’s the way they were spoken to ( generational trauma I guess).

Unfortunately there’s not much else I can do since in this economy I’m forced to live with them and I’m a full time student studying medicine ( in it for the long haul 😅) so I don’t really see a light at the end of the tunnel. Since they’re of a different culture they don’t support witchcraft so i don’t have a lot of fancy materials.

Im open to any other suggestions!

Expats who pursued medicine abroad: What has your experience been like?

Hi everyone!

I’m a junior college student from the U.S. currently on the pre-med + pre-physician assistant track, and I’m starting to seriously explore the possibility of pursuing medicine abroad after graduation. I would love to hear from anyone who has moved abroad for medical school, residency, physician assistant (PA) studies, or a healthcare career.

A little about my background: I’m majoring in Psychology with a minor in Biology, and I’m currently preparing for a career in medicine. I’m also a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) and a Nationally Registered/Maryland EMT. I recently completed a clinical externship at Johns Hopkins Hospital, which gave me more insight into healthcare from the provider side.

Right now, I’m exploring both the physician and PA routes and trying to figure out what type of healthcare career and environment would be the best fit for me long-term. I’ve been considering moving abroad because I’ve become increasingly interested in different healthcare systems and how they approach patient care. Growing up and living in the U.S., I’ve seen how unjust and inaccessible healthcare can be, and I’m interested in being part of a system that feels more accessible and equitable for both patients and providers.

I’ll actually be studying abroad in Valencia, Spain this fall, and I’m hoping to use that experience to better understand the Spanish healthcare system. I’ve been looking into opportunities like hospital internships and research, but I’ve run into some limitations because many clinical programs require advanced Spanish proficiency which I do not have.

For those of you who pursued medicine abroad or moved countries to work in healthcare:

  • What country did you move to, and why?
  • Did you study there or move after completing your education?
  • How do you feel about your decision now?
  • How difficult was the transition (language, licensing, medical education, culture, etc.)?
  • Do you feel the healthcare system aligns more with your values compared to where you started?
  • Are there any countries you would recommend looking into for someone in my position?

I’d really appreciate hearing about your experiences, both positive and challenging. Thank you!

Looking for Healthcare or Research Opportunities in Valencia as a Study Abroad Student

Hi everyone!

I’ll be studying abroad in Valencia this fall at Universidad Católica de Valencia (UCV) from September to early January, and I’m hoping to find opportunities to get involved in healthcare or research during my time there.

I’m a junior from the U.S. on the pre-med track, majoring in Psychology with a minor in Biology. I’m also a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) and a Nationally Registered/Maryland EMT. Recently, I completed a clinical externship at Johns Hopkins Hospital, and I’m interested in gaining firsthand experience with Spain’s healthcare system as I explore the possibility of pursuing medicine or graduate education abroad after graduation.

I reached out to UCV about their hospital internship program, but unfortunately I do not meet the Spanish language requirement (they require at least a B2 level). Since my semester schedule is already filled with degree requirements, I wasn’t able to add a Spanish course while abroad.

I was wondering if anyone knows of any hospitals, clinics, universities, research labs, professors, or organizations in Valencia that accept international students or volunteers who primarily speak English. I’m especially interested in opportunities related to medicine, psychology, neuroscience, or clinical research, but I’m open to anything that would allow me to learn more about healthcare and research in Spain.

I would really appreciate any recommendations, advice, or personal experiences. Thank you so much!

Is anyone studying abroad in Valencia next semester?

I go to Towson and I’m planning to study abroad in Valencia this fall. I recently found out that it looks like no one else from Towson will be going next semester, so I was wondering if anyone from UMD is heading there? I was really hoping to find someone to connect with beforehand and navigate the whole experience together 🫶

Should I transfer?

Im about to be a junior. don’t have that many friends here even tho I joined a sports club and a sorority and I’m just not happy. I’m not having fun. I never loved this school.

I plan to go abroad next semester so I would come back and only have 1.5 years left though. I’m also pre med so if I were to transfer somewhere that doesn’t accept all my credits it would push me back since I’m already kinda behind.
