Any good CC for males that doesn't break the game?

I noticed I'm always downloading CC for my female sims whenever I get the itch to download more and I wanted to know if there's any CC that's highly recommended for the males too mainly in the form of hair or clothing

Am I the only one who hates the houses in university worlds

I was looking through the houses in the sims state university world and the layout is just so bad like the bedrooms are so tiny and the stairs are always in such an awkward place even when I'm trying to rejig the build it sucks having to find somewhere the stairs will fit and where my sims can actually get to, ik they're like temporary homes until sims graduate but they're just so god awful considering how long each term is from freshman to graduate

Any ideas why this might be happening?

I've tried downloading a skintone from TSR rather than MTS but for some odd reason when I try to extract the file into my CAS folder this always seems to show up, for further context I use the 7-zip installer and normally select the 'extract here' option if that helps to answer my question

Can anyone name any mods they've removed that have caused a few crashes or frequent ones

I've been experiencing a few crashes with the game here and there (thank goodness not too frequently) and I was wondering if there were any mods that might be causing it so I can narrow down any I might recognise and can remove to stop this issue in future, just in case anyone needs to know beforehand no I don't really wanna name off my entire list of mods or include screenshot mainly for the sole purpose of keeping myself sane and I'll just end up forgetting which screenshot I have and haven't included
