Washed and waxed on this almost Fall day. Love this color!
Looking to upgrade the exhaust system in the new year on my '26 R.
Not looking for a race setup. Minimal drone and keeping the valves system in place. Want to also have options for tips,.not a fan of the ovals on the stock system.
What is out there?
Just tinted. So much better looking and not so crazy bright inside the car.
Anyone else experience a lack of dreams before getting diagnosed with hypothyroidism or hashimotos? And then once diagnosed and on medication you started to have dreams again or can remember parts?
Just over 2400 miles on the clock. Broke in for the first 1000 miles. This is a 2026 Golf R. Midlife crisis car as my mom passed away ealier this year. She told me to have a little fun with what she left me.
Flappy paddle and special mode is one hell of a fun way to get from A to B in a hurry. Been enjoying this car a ton.
Yes, my truck and car match...haha. The car will be winter stored. Any tips on storing a vehicle for several months?
This butterfly is from a free pattern I found. This was a labor of love. My wife loves butterflies. She picked the colors and I got to cutting and grinding.
It took me about of year of working on it here and there. The picture does not do this piece justice.
For funsies, I am curious on what your TPO numbers are. I will start, got tested about 3 weeks ago. Results came back at 2359, normal range for lab is 0-9.
One of my favorite pieces i completed last year. I am a sucker for geometric patterns.
Been one heck of last 1.5 years to figure out what has been happening.
First presented with unbelievable cold fingers and hands, on the verge of being painful. Also digestion issues, depressed, and higher anxiety levels. Lost interest in everyday things, and tired all the time. Doctor ran the basic thyroid tests (not TPO) and found that my TSH was high and T4 and other numbers were within range. Started me on the lowest dose of levo, tested again in 6 weeks...TSH went up. Increase dosage, TSH came down.....rinse an repeat increase dosage every 6 weeks to 125mcg.
Now we are here, tested last week for TSH and it went back up. About every other test my TSH rebounded. This last test/follow up my doctor ordered a TPO test, which I was going to ask about after this last test result if he did not suggest getting it done. With all the tests and dosage increases I have felt better and all my numbers keep getting better or not move, so we were both thinking success.
Got the TPO test results and I laughed like I was going crazy. Result came back with a score of 2359. Normal range for the lab test is listed at 0 to 9. I pulled up all my numbers from all the previous tests and did some quick research and with just the TPO test I was like yeah I have Hashimoto's even before I got the official diagnosis from my doctor.
Right now keeping me at the same dosage of levo and testing again in 6 months. I am going to guess that my TSH will be either drop in to normal or still be a tad high as it likes to rollercoaster.
I feel a ton better through the the titration of levo to my current dosage so I know that the meds were working, but the mystery was why my TSH kept on rollercoastering. The TPO test solved that mystery.
This also explains why my Garmin for body battery charge was spikey and my HRV is so slow. Body is attacking itself so it is always in the fight/flight conflict.
Just need to find some ways to manage stress better and see if change of diet will help with any of this. It has been a whirlwind adventure for sure. Just happy to have some concrete answers.
