One of my tetra is struggling this morning 😭 Is there anything I can do?

I've probably had them for three years and the tank has been stable for years. I put too much food in last night accidentally, but it wasn't a crazy amount of food?

Help me choose which V to get?

I'm looking at two very similar cars and I can't decide. Help me?

2012 Prius V with 165,000 miles asking $6,500. Base model. Regular maintenance and had a mechanic check it out.

2012 Prius V with 140,000 miles asking $8,900. It's whatever model has leather seats but no sun roof. Regular maintenance and a mechanic checked it out. Recently blew a gasket and was repaired.

So the question is to get the cheaper one that maybe will never blow a gasket or get the more expensive one that's had the repair and so maybe is a safer bet? We're handy enough at this house for most problems, but don't (yet!) have experience with a hybrid.

Of course they're different colors and we have other feelings about those kinds of things, but this is the real thing we're hung up on.

2007 with recurring transmission trouble?

I'm looking at a 2007 and the Carfax report looks like it had the transmission replaced in 2018 (at 107k), March of 2020 (at 117k) and again in June of 2020. The high voltage battery was replaced in 2015. Originally bought in Dallas and primarily owned in LA area. 180,000 miles. He's asking for $4,000

What are the odds that this transmission problem is actually resolved versus being something I'll just keep sinking money into? I'm easy on a car and maintain a pretty even mix of highway and city driving. I live in the US southeast (not Florida)

disability access plus holiday crowds

I'm planning a trip with/for two seniors who are both disabled. They'd love to go during the holidays, which I imagine will be a busy time. I have a series of questions and would love an answer to any of them you can offer.

I'm not seeing much about the schedule. Is Grand Illuminations and Saturdays generally the only time to see Christmas related things? Specifically, one of these people is really hoping for carolers in period costume. The calendar only shows "visit a nation builder" for any of those days. I'd love to be there on a weekday and it still feel festive while avoiding the weekend crowds.

Are you or have you ever gone to CW with someone disabled? They both can use a walker, but prefer mobilty scooters. How much will be accessible to them?

Are the crowds so deep during the holiday season that it's more difficult to use mobility aides?

If there are more activities in the area at that time that are disability friendly, I'm all ears.

Thank you!

Looking for a neighborhood with narrow streets

My teenager is hoping to visit neighborhoods with narrow streets during our travels this summer. Where should we go in Paris for something like that? We've been to the shambles in York and El Born in Barcelona, which is what has them interested.

Looking for career advice [astro-seek]

I'm ending a several year period of being largely unemployed (not health related) and I'm basically a blank slate. The world is my oyster, except that I'm in my mid 40s. No degree and I could go back to school for anything, I have wide ranging interests and I live in the US. I'm interested in hearing your off the cuff thoughts based on my chart. Specific or vague career advice welcome.

Thanks! (And I hope I've posted this correctly.)

Looking for an off West End (and further!) Sunday performance

I know Sundays are a little quiet and to complicate things I'm looking for a unicorn for July 5th. My teenager (14) would be thrilled to see Ride the Cyclone, but we're from the States and I hate to go all the way to London and see Ride the Cyclone. Before I cave, is there a smaller venue/off West End showing something that might appeal to both of us?

For some context of our interests, we're both disappointed to be missing the London Clown Festival by just a few days. We've seen Annie, Six, Cabaret at the kit kat club, Hadestown, Shucked, Beetlejuice, Hamilton. So yes, big productions, but we live in a small city and love to see unusual modern dance performances, clowning, community theatre and even mediocre stand up comedy.

Any direction to look is appreciated!

Where to find out about community events in Valencia

Is there something like an alternative free weekly magazine or newspaper (that's what we'd call it in the US where I live) that would list things like art openings, community theatre, dance performance, etc? The small, community or regional events, not large touring projects.

A few years ago in Barcelona I went to a one woman show by a local aerialist (Cèlia Marcé Oller- see her if you have the chance!) at a community center and it was one of my most favorite things I did on my trip. So I'm looking for things like that.

The bus is less than half the price of the train of several of the routes I'm looking at, but I'm also old enough that being uncomfortable has a cost. I'm looking at routes in France and Spain.

Is the bus comfortable? Are there bus lines that are not worth it? Alternatively, nicer ones worth booking? Please tell me your Europe bus travel advice/experience.
