What system prompt can you throw at an LLM (e.g. pre-prompt/wrapper) so that it behaves as if it's perpetually doubtful of or gaslighting it's own thought process?

Especially for multi-step "thinking" models, and without explicitly just telling it to simply act like it has ADHD or act paranoid. And would you raise temperature and token limits to fill it with crap?

Wondering if you can throw it anything to literally ruin it's "thought process" and pull from weights in every direction or something like that.

Has anyone used anything OTHER than 3D printed shrouds for server GPUs?

(CONCEPT IMAGE ONLY) Strapping a half carton over the ends of a 9733 blower fan + server GPU is totally feasible, instead of printing a duct. But in all my decades on the Internet, I've never seen it done. And you can even easily make it removable, just get the air seal right.

I got a Tesla P100 last week for AI, might get another later. Without any 3D printer available, I'm about to do just this. Any reason I shouldn't, other than it's really stupid-looking? It can be a cutout carton, it can be a thick freezer bag (called a plenum or air bladder, used this way).

Human Centipede: For GPUs with an integrated M.2 slot such as the "ASUS Dual GeForce RTX 4060 Ti SSD", can I chain two more of the same GPU via a pair of M.2 to PCIe adapter?

PCIe x16

This because I found out that this card only needs x8 to run, and has an internal PCIe switch so you don't need a bifurcating motherboard

Desktop setup, Vulkan backend- is it possible to split weights amongst one (or more) dGPUs and then the Radeon iGPU of an AMD G-series processor?

This is purely a theoretical question, no particular platform in mind.

Whether it is possible or not will influence my buying decisions. I'm split between getting a "normal" AM4 or AM5 GPU; or taking a slight L3 and lane penalty and getting a G-series APU, if splitting weights this way sounds promising.

I've seen videos of LLMs running solely on the APU's iGPU (Huge RAM, 70B dense models, horrible T/s), but wouldn't it be awesome if we could accelerate running a Qwen MoE's weights between the discrete GPU and an iGPU instead of running CPU spillover?

Related sub: the closest related sub I found was "AMD iGPU + dGPU : llama.cpp tensor-split not working with Vulkan backend" by u/Sixbroam , sounds like it was solved already "by Picard12832 and others", but I was hoping at least one other human would chime in and say "yeah, this is legit" because particularly confusing was the last statement, "...note that it's slower than using only the 780M", I mean, I hope they meant that using 120B was slower than 20B, not that using dGPU iGPU was slower than just iGPU. TLDR I'm still skeptical.

Pendleton Ward created Lady Rainicorn (appeared 2007)
Lord Monochromicorn was created by Natasha Allegri (appeared 2011)

now how did this happen

Shower thought #394: I wonder what Bassai Dai would look like in Drunken Fist style.

... and then I find myself alone in a stairwell doing uchi-uke in sideways-teetering "cup-holding fist" drinking motions ...

Do I need an RTX 5070 / RX 9070 for this?

If these are my requirements, would I need a 5070/9070-class card, or would 5060/9060-class cut it?

2025 AAA titles
1080p only
Native scaling. No in-game scaling (no DLSS, FSR, etc)
High or Ultra textures and AA
but no raytracing/path tracing, hairworks or foofy shit
Fixed 60FPS cap
BUT: with LSFG 4X (240 FPS) at 100% flow scale
and the PUNCH LINE: 70°C thermals only.

My estimate is a 5070/9070 can run stuff like this at 50% utilization, then add around 25% for the LSFG 4X and still have around 25% headroom so the thermals don't skyrocket.

You think this sounds like a fair assessment, or am I being a spazhole?

Thought experiment: "Full Contact Kata / Kumite Kata" (half-baked shower thoughts, but please hear me out)

Yeah I already know all the hate I'm going to get for this (it won't work, it's stupid, it won't work, judges would argue all day, it WON'T WORK etc. etc.)

All that aside, ride along this shower thought. It's a novel knockdown variant of kumite- The general idea is full contact kumite (with or without protective gear), but the moveset is constrained to only moves appearing within a specific and predetermined kata. Meaning, any attacks or defenses outside of the kata would be a foul.

Before kumite, fighters first battle in a sort of poker-style or Pokemon-style card game, each card bearing the name of a kata with arbitrary stats, until each player is left with only one card in their hand, which will be the kata moveset they get to use during kumite. A 30-second fight would then take place in a 10-foot diameter circle (3meter) with three judges watching.

Brainstorm? Thoughts?

Knifehand tameshiwari - bone or muscle contact?

For knifehand bottle-top strikes, horizontal and vertical boards, held stones, bricks- which part of the hand is conditioned? Is it the meaty knifehand muscle, or is it the 5th carpal bone nearly to the back of the hand? Also, the pinky nerves run through there. Breakers, have you ever injured those nerves?

Seiryuto (ox jaw) or shuto, sorry idk the difference.

Which Shotokan kata/embusen uses the largest floor area?

I'd consider said floor area to be the minimum required space for a single person to practice
