Need help regarding college
I’m really confused about college admissions right now and just need honest advice from people who’ve been in a similar situation.
I scored 30 percentile in JEE Main, 72% in boards, and got an RE in Physics. My budget is low, around 1 lakh per year preferably including hostel, so taking admission anywhere expensive isn’t really possible for me.
I still want to pursue BTech CSE, but at this point I’m mainly looking for a college with affordable fees, decent campus life, manageable academics, and enough freedom to work on coding and skills outside college. I care more about environment and opportunities than fake placement claims.
I’m okay with tier 3 colleges and I’m not expecting miracles anymore. I just want a realistic option where I can spend 4 years improving myself instead of completely ruining my mental health.
If anyone knows decent low-fee private/government colleges in North India that could realistically take someone with my profile, please suggest them honestly.

NEED SERIOUS ADVICE
I seriously need advice regarding BTech admission in Haryana.
I scored 30 percentile in JEE and 72% in boards (with reappear in Physics), so my father thought I probably wouldn’t get a decent college through normal counselling. Through contacts, he arranged admission in CBS Group of Institutions, Jhajjar, for BTech and already paid ₹10,000 to someone for the process.
I mentally accepted it because I thought this was my last option and I was preparing myself to study there for 4 years.
But recently, I posted about it here and someone told me the college is actually closed/not functioning anymore. Now I’m completely confused and stressed because money has already been paid and we genuinely thought admission was confirmed.
Can someone please tell me:
Is CBS Group of Institutions actually closed?
If yes, what should I do now?
Can I still get admission anywhere decent through management quota/direct admission/counselling?
Are there any private colleges in Haryana/Delhi NCR where I still have a chance for BTech CSE or related branches with my marks?
And the fees should be on a lower side
Please give genuine advice. I honestly don’t know what options I have left right now.
