Plaud recording quality on Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra is awful. Is this normal?

I was really excited to try my Plaud device. My boyfriend bought it for me, and I’m a real estate professional, so I need to record conversations clearly.

I attach it to the back of my Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra. In the recordings, my voice is audible, but the other person’s voice is very unclear and hard to understand. The overall audio quality is so poor that the device is barely useful for what I need.

I really want this product to work, but right now I’m extremely disappointed. Has anyone else had this problem with a Galaxy S25 Ultra? Is there a setting, placement, or troubleshooting step that improved the other person’s audio? I’d also appreciate hearing from anyone who got help from Plaud Support.

Lucky #7! 🖤

Meet my newest addition: a Chanel Maxi Flap in black caviar leather with silver hardware.

This is my first pre-loved Chanel—every other bag in my collection was purchased new from the boutique. I was a little nervous at first, but she's absolutely beautiful and in incredible condition.

The best part? She's officially my new work bag, so she'll be coming with me to every showing, closing, and client meeting.

Can't wait to put her to work! ✨

Oura Ring 5 Workout Detection Feels Like a Downgrade

I've been using the Oura Ring 5 for a little while now after upgrading from the Oura Ring 4, and so far I'm honestly a bit disappointed.
My biggest issue is workout detection. The Ring 4 seemed to pick up my activity much more consistently, while the Ring 5 has missed several workouts or failed to recognize them accurately. I haven't changed my routine, so the difference has been pretty noticeable.
Sleep tracking and recovery metrics still seem solid, but activity tracking feels like a step backward. I expected the newer hardware/software to improve detection, not make it less reliable.
Has anyone else noticed this? Are there settings I'm missing, or is this something Oura is still working on with firmware updates?
I'd love to hear if others have experienced the same thing before I decide whether to keep using it or go back to my Ring 4.

Oura Ring 5 Upgrade – Day 1 Thoughts (Coming from the Oura Ring 4)

I upgraded from the Oura Ring 4 to the new rose gold Oura Ring 5, and after just one day, the first thing I noticed is how much smaller and lighter it feels.

I wasn’t expecting the difference to be this noticeable, but the Ring 5 feels more refined and comfortable on my finger. The lower profile makes it feel less bulky throughout the day, and I almost forgot I was wearing it a few times.

The rose gold finish also looks great in person. It feels a bit more polished and premium compared to my previous ring, and it blends in better with everyday wear.
As for tracking and data, it’s obviously too early to tell after only one day, but from a comfort and design standpoint, the upgrade has been positive so far.

Day 1 Pros:
Noticeably smaller profile
Lighter weight
More comfortable for all-day wear
Rose gold looks fantastic
Feels more premium overall
I’ll update after a few weeks once I have enough sleep, readiness, and activity data to compare against my Ring 4.

For those who upgraded from the 4 to the 5, what differences have you noticed so far? Is there anything I should pay attention to during the first few weeks?
