Offering up a beautiful and resilient cutting of Super Pedro originally sourced from cocac that gave very nice notchy growth with resilient vigor through a very rough winter (spent a week in a greenhouse at around 18-22F and survived the rest of the winter without any supplemental heat in the mostly 30-40s during an unexpected move. Minor scuffs but honestly it’s nearly unscathed by the stress of moving twice and far from ideal habitat.will need 1-2 weeks to callous before shipping. Will dust with rooting hormone and/or sulfur upon request.

Well if it turns out if you google drippy boob areoles on your TPQC you might not find quite what you’re looking for. And while I didn’t turn it off to find out, I’d suggest leaving safe search on based on what I saw.

But anyone get these oddities growing on their TPQC? Had a few last year too which are further down the plant. My cut came from Mallacht originally.

Honestly, there are so many incredible people here sharing cuts and seedlings and I don’t want to make it seem like I don’t appreciate all of you as I’ve been rebuilding my garden after a bit of a disaster while moving last winter.

When I opened up my box I had ordered of a SASS pup from u/wheezer333 last night I was blown away as the seedling and cutting freebies I unwrapped just kept coming. Very grateful for all of the lovely additions and I hope to pay that forward someday.

I’ve never found anything but T Grandi Hybrids, and occasionally T Tarijensis ‘poco’, T. Purpureopilosus and a few sungoddess and copper barrel occasionally which I grab fairly reliably anytime i need some fresh stock. Was surprised to find this beautiful TPM and couldn’t resist. And a pilo that is just labeled as pilosocereus species, but definitely looking different than the usual blue torch azureus, pachycladus, gounellei and other suspects I find there. Still very young so it’s hard to tell id for me. C. Bradei? Either way I’m pretty stoked on the new family members.

Last pic shows one of the grandi hybrids that led to this trip for more stock. I couldn’t bring myself to cut this beauty and instead potted it up when it finished its first bloom. Loving the contrast of the transition from the dark throat to orange inner petals, orange on crimson outside of that and finally crimson on fuchsia and pink outer petals

Maybe the Home Depot stock stocking gods rewarded me with a tpm for saving one of their beauties from a beheading at the chopping block and allowing it to have a place to put its roots down and shine.

Sometimes my graft stock is given a chance to show what they have inside when I have nothing to put on them. Grateful for this beautiful flower surprise.
