Hello peoples and welcome to my 2nd drawing that I’m posting in this subreddit lol. As a former student of Flanagan (graduated this year) I lived in a neighborhood that was close enough for me to walk and I have passed this intersection on my way to school several times. One thing that I have noticed is that it is incredibly dangerous for both drivers and pedestrians to be in this intersection. Drivers who want to make a left hand turn often have to cross several lanes of traffic. For pedestrians, if they want to cross the street, they would have to walk awhile to find a crosswalk to get to the other side of the road. In an effort to enhance safety and convenience, I think a roundabout being built here would be extremely beneficial.

The 2 lane road would be preserved to not take away from the capacity of the road. Cross walks with pedestrian islands and hazard signs would be placed throughout the roundabout to improve safety for pedestrians. And as a nice little touch, I would place a fountain in the center as well as placing trees throughout the roundabout.

Let me know what y’all think about this idea and is there any intersections that you can envision being improved?

250 years ago, our ancestors fought for the independence of the nation we now reside in. After centuries of fighting, progress, and change; we really have come a long way from a backwater on the other side of the world. The empires at the time thought that we would have collapsed, that the dream of democracy would die in a ball of fire. Look where we are now. An economic and military superpower with its influence spread across every corner of the globe.

However, in our nation's 250 years of existence, we have experienced great strife. For nearly half of our nation's existence, some of our ancestors enslaved millions without cause other than sheer greed. Some of our ancestors stole Native American land and massacred millions. Huge monopolies controlled entire industries and stomped out any form of competition. Our government invaded foreign nations with no other reason than to expand our power. The fact of the matter is, our nation has done many bad things but, we have also done truly great things in our lifetime.

We sent man to the moon and further advanced humanity into the stars. We fought back against fascists in WW2. We expanded civil rights. Now, more than ever, every American has an equal shot to do great things. Now has never been a greater time to be an American. Sure, our country is facing hard times but we have been through worse and we have gotten better and we will continue to improve.

You may not like our countries government be that the one we have now or the previous one but don't miss the point of the 4th of July. We celebrate today to honor the IDEA of America, the IDEALS of America. We honor the principle that everyone was created equal with certain unalienable rights. Times are tough, there is no denying that. Life is getting more and more expensive and our government seems to be drifting further away from democracy but the biggest crime you could ever do is, to lose hope. Things shall and always will get better, you just have to look and work towards it. Change has never been easy but it has always been worth it.

Have a Happy 4th of July because today, we are all celebrating the idea of America, not the government of America.

Pembroke Lakes mall is the city's premier mall that provides hundreds of jobs for the surrounding area as well as tens of thousands of dollars for the city. However, the mall is in decline as well as many other malls around the country. Now, here’s the question:

HOW DO WE FIX IT???

Well, I’m no expert in this sort of topic but I like to think that I am somewhat knowledgeable on urban design and I intend to study landscape architecture but here is my plan for my home mall that I have been to probably hundreds of times throughout my life.

Remove the roof

Outdoor malls are, in my opinion, a lot more aesthetically pleasing than indoor malls. The removal of the roof allows wind and natural sunlight to better go through the space. Overhangs would be lined along the exterior of all the stores to protect shoppers from the rain.

Addition of fountains and green space

These are nice and should be added, not much more.

Addition of different forms of housing

As y’all can see at the bottom of the screen, this redevelopment includes new housing that would take up some of the parking lots around the mall. This would be mostly affordable housing at different price points. 

Adding a bridge to the north

Now, this might seem a little out of place but let me explain. This would be built to connect the neighborhoods north of the mall. For those who wish to walk to the mall but live north of Memorial Hospital, they would have to go all the way around and at the point, I’d just give up. I find this is the best solution for this problem. Cars would not be allowed on this bridge (obviously lol). The roadway that would go through it would be raised as well to decrease the chance of people getting hit.

The entire design just doesn't look right within the context of the Astro arc. The design feels disjointed and it oddly feels like TCM wasn't created to fight Astros and instead the Skibidis. I'll go into more detail:

• The new mechanical hand on there is way too large compared to the rest of the body and looks out of place compared to other hands in the series and even TCM's right hand.
• His left railgun, while not bad by itself, looks out of place design wise with the colors not matching. I also feel that the days of arm mounted guns that can be shot off is not a good choice tactical wise due to the ever increasing firepower of the Astros.
• The shoulder cannons look way too far out and are too exposed. Also, the shoulder cannon model has been used constantly for almost every Astro titan design and it's starting to become unoriginal.
• The core, while fine, has barely been changed. That in itself is not bad but the added blue tubes just looks out of place and just doesn't look good.
• The actual body of TCM is entirely unchanged and down to even the clothes. This whole design just feels like strapping Astro weapons on TCM 2.0's body.

Now, I'm not gonna pretend that the original design is the most peak thing I have ever seen. It has it's own problems such as the unoriginal shoulder cannons, the weird looking camera lens, and the same problem with just strapping on things to TCM 2.0's original body but the thing holding it above the new design is consistency. The whole design is visually consistent with no parts looking out of place (except for the camera lens but that isn't as bad as the redesign). While the original design is at best, boring, it at least looked consistent compared to this design.

While Hollywood Studios is getting major expansions and refurbishments such as Rockin Rollercoaster starring the Muppets, the Magic of Disney Animation (as well as Walt Disney Studios), and Monstropolis; certain areas of the park has gone years without any form of development with one of those places being PIXAR Studios.

Ever since the moving of the entrance of Midway Mania, this area has been a dead end with only the Edna walk-through and Meet&Greet being the only draw to the area. While Disney’s focus should be on finishing Monstropolis before doing anything else in the park, this area really needs a refresh badly. Another factor to put into this development is Disney’s sudden interest in bringing back the studio aspect of the park due to Walt Disney Studios. I feel that the park should be a mix of IP lands and the original message of the park. 

So, I welcome you all to the Hollywood Gardens.

The first thing you all will notice is the presence of trees, gardens, and water. Hollywood Studios is already the hottest park in WDW in my opinion so adding more shade is already better than the original. The grass parts don't have any barriers and are open for guests to sit down under dense shade. A hotdog cart is also next to the small bridge over the river. Speaking of the river, fountains will be under the water and go up in sync with the area's music.

As y’all can tell, the restrooms currently in the area have been removed and moved to the left of the land. The nearby counter-service that is behind the Runaway Railway will be kept with just the facade being changed to fit the area's Golden Age of Hollywood theme.

The previous Edna walk-through and M&G will be replaced by a walk-through with exhibits dedicated to iconic celebrities such as Marylin Monroe, Robin Williams, Robert Downey Junior, and many other celebrities throughout the ages. Opposite of this walkthrough is an art deco mural of Hollywood with a waterfall starting at the top and going down. 

If you couldn’t notice, the area has been further expanded south, nearly doubling in size. This will be used for more garden space as well as a retail space at the end of the land that will sell traditional Hollywood Studios merchandise. As for all the backstage buildings that will now be in view, their backsides will be themed to soundstages and be filled with iconic movie posters in the traditional Golden Age of Hollywood style similar to the soundstages seen in Walt Disney Studios.

I’m saying this because I think we all had a very good talk about expressing your displeasure in comments rather than downvotes cause downvoting hurts the sub. If you downvoted a political ad about something you disagree with, that’s fine. Still hurts the sub but makes sense.

But this upvote ratio is from a post literally about the makeup of the Multese armed forces. Literally just a list of what Multum has. Tanks, logistics, soldiers, etc. I can literally not think of a single thing that could be worthy of downvoting
