How much fruit juice (supermarket stuff) do people drink?
I'm in the UK and most of our fruit selection is ass, half the time it doesn't taste sweet, it's expensive etc
I land on drinking about 1L to 1.5L of fruit juice (not from concentrate) a day to bolster my simple sugar/calorie intake
Because it's juiced in southern Europe I think they probably use better/sweeter varities at peak ripeness and juice is a lot cheaper per calorie. Also I don't worry about it not being organic as research shows juice processing can remove a lot of pesticides which cuts the costs
On the whole probably not optimal but my thinking is it's better than white sugar, coke and maybe honey and so long as I'm eating nutirent dense otherwise should be okay
(I do eat some fresh fruit, oranges and bananas are at least fairly reliable)
