Hardik for Cam. My FOOT!
What a fight from Cameron Green.
Green walked in at 73/3, with Australia still 155 runs behind Bangladesh. The wicket was tricky, but he held his ground. His partnership with Smith and Carey was the highlight of Aus's innings. The only thing that went in their way. Together, they kept the fort strong, soaking up the pressure and slowly dragging Australia back into the game. Green then carried on with Starc, eventually bringing up a brilliant 104 off 201 balls.
A remarkable insight from this innings is that his century was marred only by 4 boundaries and 1 six – the only one by the Aus batters.
The result didn't go Australia's way, but innings like this remind you why the young blood is special
